We're Never Getting Better

We're Never Getting Better

A Poem by Alexandra

And this is how it'll always be
Yelling out my lungs to your bullshit lies
And we might've gotten back from our honeymoon
But, none of this will ever make sense

If you feel so inclined to follow the girls with the skimpy tops & cliche bios
Just save my breathe so I can go back to flower gardens & reading my heart out
There is nothing special about me beside this ambition that explodes and wavers through this vessel

And you said it in Mexico
But, this has been feeling too temporal babe
Just too f*****g temporal
