Being Forever Alone Part II

Being Forever Alone Part II

A Poem by Alexandra

Last night you came into my dreams
You told me this is something we could fix
You looked so bad
It wasn’t even the sight of who you were two years ago
You admit to the many women
You admit to the lies and what you hid
You admit to the faults of putting your hands on me
And your eyes look so broken
Amor, what happened.

I loved you like it was the old days.
I promised everything on the line for you.
I left my soul and pride at the table just to be able to have you in my arms once again...
I wanted to dig a knife into my chest just to have you pick up my calls and maybe that was something urgent enough for you to answer
I prayed night and day for your realization
There are some thing in life you can’t do twice
And I told you it was the first & last time
I love you and I always have.
But, there’s just no f*****g way
