Contemplating in Parking Level 2A Poem by Alexandra
Gary hands me a cigarette and a lighter
Stephanie opens the door for the demons to crawl in I keep telling Austin I miss him so he knows to check up on me every other hour So when I’m not responding It’s because I’m heading to an unknown area in my head Is it bad I wonder where you woke up last night? Your ex was calling your name. Did you run? Or did you think of it better to stay the same? If I ask, it’s because I already know. (I had to block you and all of your friends two nights ago. It’s become a burden to see you when all I ask is for you to never cross paths with me again. You’ve grown to be my worst nightmare) © 2018 Alexandra |
