A Poem by Alexandra

You held my hand with such weight today
It felt like everything you’ve been holding in finally let loose
You tell me you love me for the second time in a day
And I have no energy to give
But, I’m so glad you do.
Someone finally cares for me.
And they won’t hurt me.
Ever.
