Nugents!

A Poem by Alexandra

And I’ll wait until your friends leave the bar
For me to cry
They don’t say hello
And I’m so eager to say it back
But, they’re not sure
So I’ll hope for a better day
Where you’re next to me
And I’ll say it back with such confidence
Because everything will be okay
And I’ll love you like it was yesterday in my apartment
And it’ll never matter
Because this medicine doesn’t work when I’m drinking
That’s why they warn you.

I’m so fucked.
