Woman

Woman

A Poem by Alexandra

Hang my head from your laughter
It echoes and rings
Place your hand between my thighs
Tell me this is how you want it to be
And I’ll let you know if it’ll work with me

I want to be on your level
I’ve been wading in the water for too many men
They have no idea how to envelop me
Enthrall me in higher thinking
Let me be in your ethereal
For a minute longer

Indulge in my play
In the backseat of my car
Grab whatever I was holding
And overshadow it
Lay the emotional baggage
Linger in our vulnerability
Feel the framework of another body
I’ll love you just like I’ve loved the rest
So say it:
I want you.
