Dear Future Girlfriend,

Dear Future Girlfriend,

A Poem by Alexandra

If I could put a warning label before anyone get's too consumed in him:
I would
Take it as a blessing
So when you get too far enveloped in brown eyes
You'll find blood shed and tears
There's reasons why people deserve to know the kind of person he is
It's the topic of my essay:
Disguises
The most profound is his
Nothing beautiful lingers behind the eyes of an abuser

If not heeded
Just know
If not in a day
A week
A month
A year
It'll manifest in the worst of ways

Of course,
No one can hide their true self for that long.
