Locker Room Thoughts @ 3 AM

A Poem by Alexandra

Dear Mother,

I have sinned
I was not born to be in this body of perfect image
My intelligence flat lines after certain drugs take effect
I have fucked more men in the last month
Then I have my entire life
Mom
If I can rewind the tape to the point when we knew I wasn’t going to make it
Let’s go to the age of 13
When you found me on the floor
Pulling my hair out
Eyebrow half plucked
Mascara on the walls
Sobbing to the sound of Bach
You
My creator
Take it back
All of me back
Please
