A Poem by Alexandra

Green Eyes
We meet again
In the bathtub of your parents million dollar home
You, sweet rich boy
Do you know how many people would love to take this spot?
I’d bet a million on top of your million
Make love to this body
In your glass shower made of hexagon marbles
While Dayna texts you
“How’s it going?”
Large ceilings
Open windows
I don’t mind the neighbors looking at my naked body
As long as you’re on top of it
Cry louder
Because this is the last time you’ll see me
You’ll away be mine
And I’ll never be yours
It’s just how these things go
When you’re in love with a girl that doesn’t know her worth.
