Resurrection

Resurrection

A Poem by Alexandra

Here comes the part where I love most about my life
Any time I feel myself on the cliff
Ready to throw myself off
F**k the rest and everything else
Someone who has been lingering in the dark
Pulls me by the arm
Grabs me by the face
And tells me they were here all along
“What can I do?”
Too bad it’s the person you hate the most
So glad it is
Maybe you won’t get so mad this time
