Guide Me, Love

Guide Me, Love

A Poem by Alexandra

Brown eyes
Finally re-contextualized
I’m so afraid
So nerve-wracked
To make you my safe haven

There is something beautiful yet annilhating in this brevity...the fear of love and giving up of loneliness can be crippling...life is loneliness despite all the hope of redemption...there is no intensity of love it feeling that does not involve the risk of crippling hurt yet it is our duty to take this risk, to live without reserve it defence

this review might just be better than the poem itself. Thank you, John!
