Bite Me

Bite Me

A Poem by Alexandra

I’m not here to take your hand
And hold your weight
Sense my context
I am not your lover
If I’m holding you up

I don’t care for sex
If it means waking up to you in the morning
I don’t want conversation
If I’m being brought down

I’m the most selfish person in the planet
But, ever since I found someone
That looks at me in the eye
And meets me in the middle

I don’t need to hear anything else
