Monarch

Monarch

A Poem by Alexandra

Now that your friends are gone
And those you trust are no longer picking up your calls
And the w****s left the bed
And your room is cold as your heart
The record plays

I can see you self destructing
What a sight that would be
Just implode
On the spot
Your guts squirm on the records
Your blood as fresh new paint on the wall

Me and him would just watch in laughter
How a man of such potential
Such strength
Such beauty in my eyes
That once captivated this soul for a split second in the month of December
Died in my heart & my mind
