FernandoA Poem by Alexandra
“I need to find a wall”
Grab my fragile body And push me up against the window Take a breather And let’s resume again So many bad choices last night But, will worry about that in a month When our actions have consequences So in a well lit attic room On 333 Washington Avenue We made love until 3 in the morning Leaving our ghosts by the bedside Our history with our pile of clothes Our old lovers at the door And the only weight Was of each other’s bodies © 2019 Alexandra |
