Turnover

Turnover

A Poem by Alexandra

As the days move along
The regret trickles in
How things could’ve been different for us
If we didn’t make mistakes in our manners
Or maybe said less on certain subjects

I still think you are an amazing human being
Despite what I hear from your mouth
Through your “friends”
I know it’s just pent up anger
I know it’s hard
I know you’re making mistakes still

And even if I won’t ever apologize
I’ll stay silent
I’ll hope that everything will find it’s place
I just hope you find it sooner
