Doesn't Mean I Should

Doesn't Mean I Should

A Poem by Alexandra

He asks me, "Why do you keep holding on?"
For every right and wrong reason
When you found me with another man, you stayed
Waited patiently
Night and day for my return
And despite everything you've done in between
I'd forgive it all
Just to have you by my side again:
I've only loved once and it was you
