Rainy Day

Rainy Day

A Poem by Atticus Langston

Today it rains-
Oh what a sight!
My childhood dreams
Do reignite!

Today it rains-
Because God weeps.
Not out of sorrow,
But out of joy!

Today it rains-
A symphony!
Each drop an intrinsic note
Of the untold story.

Today it rains-
To cleanse my Soul!
A new beginning-
I am reborn!

Today it rains-
Oh what a sight!
My childhood dreams
Do reignite!

Today it rains-
Today it rains!
I’m at peace-
And all is good.
