Till Death Do Us Part

I wrote this in the past when I was in a really dark place and had just lost my best friend in an accident

I walked alone
till you arose
entering my life
and making wounds close

Then i would smile
happy and bright
all was good
until you died

When all held me close
and asked if i was okay
i said "I don't know"
What can I say?

So I went on
afraid and alone
until i saw your face
one night in the snow

I saw your sweet smile
in the stars one night
till death did us part
Oh, but what a sight!
