My perfectionA Poem by Kimberley HawkerThe things that warm my heart the most.
Tired eyes gazing at my love sleeping innocently beside me
Fresh air I inhale as I toss and turn between the messy linen
My feet dragging against the chilly carpet A blanket of cold air over me, as I slowly walk towards the kitchen The cup of coffee that touches my lips as I take that first sip Rain pouring through the mist, pattering against the window Autumn leaves on the trees I admire as I curl up in my chair with my blanket This, is my perfection. © 2016 Kimberley HawkerAuthor's Note
