feeding Mother
A Poem by John Jackson (El Juero)
what I am experiencing right now.
she fed me,
diapered me,
bathed me.
labors of love.
I fed her,
just today.
every spoonful,
an emotion.
every bite,
a memory.
tears on my face
carry prayers,
that my children
will do the same,
for me...
