Only One Per CustomerA Poem by b4i8isleptOnly One Per Customer
It sits alone on a table patiently waiting its turn
I sit beside it as the pain inside of me slowly does burn
Would it alleviate my misery if it were to meet my head
If I were to just let it go where it wants to be lead?
I look behind me into my long and dark past
My future seems to be catching up with me fast
I know I only get one, I know it can't be replaced
If I were to take it would it be such a disgrace?
After all it happens each day and nobody does notice
They just all walk around within their own focus
(In case you don't get it I will explain)
(It exits its tunnel and enters my brain) © 2014 b4i8islept |
