True BeautyA Poem by FarrsightJust sitting and I had a spiritual moment. Kinda makes you think, huh?
The Question of the ages,
Difficult answering it may pose. "What is true beauty?" The answer? No one knows. Lipstick? Diets? Styling your hair? Immodesty? Strength? Taking a dare? Girlfriends? Boyfriends? A hullabaloo? Drinking? Smoking? Other things people do? That might be beauty, Right?... Couldn't it? But I think that it's different, Maybe just a bit. I thought it could be trees, The flowers and the grass. The stars and the moon, But I saved best for last. I know what true beauty is, Though you might have to search. You can find it many places, But I'd recommend a church. True Beauty is our Father in heaven, And his plan for us all. It's love, hope, and faith, And our will to answer his call. © 2016 FarrsightAuthor's Note
