Throwing yourself away

Throwing yourself away

A Poem by PaulAnka
"

Someone realizing the dynamic of their relationship, and how they are always changing for the other person. to be happy.

"
I don’t want to throw the trash out
With my clothes that were too “loud”
But I don’t want to hear your shouts
Why do you choose what I’m allowed?
When you always think I’m uncouth
I know I’ll never make you proud
Since you point out my flaws aloud
I know I’ll never be someone you tout

You told me to just go with the crowd
It’s as if I was born with an unruly snout
You won’t let me have emotions or pout
And there’s too many thoughts to count
As the tears flow I don’t make a sound
The words won’t come out of my mouth
So for once I won’t make things go south
