What I remember

This is mostly talking about the wonderful times that pretty much I thought about every second after we broke up.

What I remember is the way you looked at me,

and the way you would say things.

 

What I remember is that you would say things to me,

but I don't think you ever meant them.

 

What I remember was your hand in mine,

but I don't know if you really wanted it there.

 

What I remember is what you would do to me,

but I'm not sure now if you really wanted to do it.

 

What I remember is all the things you said we would do,

but I don't think we ever did them all.

 

What I remember most is,

when you broke my heart into a million pieces,

and I don't think you really even cared.

 

What I remember is when I cried,

and then you just left.

 

What I remember is the way you thought you wouldn't hurt me,

but you know better s**t than that.

You should have known you would have hurt me,

and this is what Im left with....

An empy and broken heart.
