Pain...

Pain...

A Poem by barricade
"

Its all you've left me with..

"
I write,
I write not what I feel,
I write but what is real...

Sitting at my desk,
Staring blatantly onto an empty page,
Oblivious...

I begin to write...
Pen to paper,
Like a knife through my skin...

My sorrows,
Revisited...
My feelings,
Misconstrued...

The pain I withheld for so long,
A Pandora's box,
of my own...

My pen it gently weeps,
The empty page, it bleeds...

Words soaked in tears,
Pages covered in bloody smears...

Very descriptive! Every writer has a Pandora's box that needs to be opened. Writing is such a perfect way to do it. It's always best to write about what's real, but fantasy also works just a good. Just depends on how good your imagination is. We write so we can feel...feel ourselves come alive once again when we've felt we've fallen off the tracks.
