thoughts about someone really close...about what we share...

Miles away...
as i lie here thinking about you...
a wave of thoughts...
just have me bound to you...

An emotional connect...
a feeling so strong...
words just aren't needed...
to express what the hearts long...

what is this bond...
this feeling??? i ask...
the purity in which...
the two of us bask...

Is it our past...
or the present that ties...
a knot it seems...
that never dies...

I can totally, 100 percent relate to this. When you have that strong connection with someone no matter how far away they are but not being so sure you want that connection. I have friends in Rhode Island where I used to live that I have that with. Sometimes it's a lot, but it's worth it. This was a great poem :)

I know this emotional connect. When I am consumed by waves of love as if his arms are about me, it is moments like that I think. He must be thinking about me at this very moment. It is so strong what other explanation could there be. For me you captured this feeling with your words.

this was a fabulous line and said a lot about eternity of love when the whole words says: nothing lasts forever......coz some relations, some feelings, do last forever... :) lovely thought and very simple, sweet and yet moving articulation of those thoughts...
