Do you want to know the truth ?
what the world taught in your youth
do you question what you've been taught
have you the answers you have sought

Why is it that the world of men
lift themselves above other kin
if imperfect we all be
how can others needs we see

Do we deserve anything at all
considering how frequently we fall
walk within the fields do we
and touch upon humanity

Darkness lives within my soul
also light and wars the whole
the war within must we win
to capture Love and escape sin

Gods music rests within our soul
and songs of Love which we extol
the life we hope to make our goal
and hearts we hope to console

Within this verse we are one man
and those we touch are grains of sand
My voice is only one in the crowd
spoken softly and not out loud

My soul reaches out to you
to touch and my voice to be true
to look upon your soul within
as born like me among earths men
