IT WATCHES 

Failure and pain (chapter 1) 

I was given my meal for the day and thrown back into my cell. The speakers turned on “B7 you will go with one of the doctors to the ‘fun’ room to play”. My name is B7. My stomach rumbled and the lights of my cell turned off.  

I woke up, a guard was carrying me towards the room. They threw me into the room, the room was patted and had a strange mirror in the corner. There were blood stains on the ground near the door. The speaker turned on, “B7, GENDER: FEMALE, AGE: 12 IS NOW BEING EXPERIMENTED ON”. “B7 WALK TOWARDS THE MIRROR OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES”. 

The mirror started glowing when I neared, it showed a picture of me in a field running around, free. I saw other children, like A3 and G0. I’ve been the only child who arrived at lunch yesterday, and I wondered where they went. I went up to the mirror and touched it, the room turned pitch-black, and I began sinking into the ground. 

Deep end (chapter 2) 

 I was now in a house, and I saw someone. It was R4, a humorous young boy now lying dead before me. I really enjoyed his company, but the only question that lingered in my head, what sick thing did this to him. I walked out of the house, and all I saw was vast ocean. 

Suddenly something was scraping below the house. It was getting closer, I ran into the house. Something climbed onto the side of the house. The wall exploded, a massive crab stood before me. The crab grabbed R4’s body and retreated into the sea. I had to get out of this house, I found pieces of wall and formed a make-shift boat and paddle. 

I made it to a house with not much difficulty, but it was freezing. I looked back to the house I was just at. Could I have done anything to save R4. If this happened to all the kids at the lab, I would have to save every single one of them, and I cannot let anyone else die. 

I found a mirror, the roof next to it was collapsed. There was graffiti, it said “beware of the seeker”. What was a seeker, and went up to the mirror and touched it. 

 

 

 

 

Ghost town (chapter 3) 

The town was empty, grey brick houses collapsed everywhere. Black sludge oozed from every crack or hole, it seemed to have consumed the entire place. A giant wall bordered the town. 

A kid was up against a wall, well he used to be a kid. He was a carcass , his body had residue all over it, and it pained me to realize that I recognized him. It was Y5, a smart kid, but not very athletic. I was too late to save him. Something was at his feet, a notebook. She recognized the brand, it was from the lab. It was titled “MONSTERS” in sharpie. 

Suddenly I had a memory, it was the day I arrived at the lab from the orphanage. The lab called me special, it was weird how they looked at me, they signed me up for a strange surgery. I grabbed the notebook, it had a bookmark. I flipped to that page, it told me about some monster called a Lurker and how there were many species. There was one called a seeker, which stood out, it said it disappeared a long time ago. 

Suddenly the ground shook, the ground split in two. Many tentacle erupted from the ground, luckily some of the tentacle broke part of the wall. I ran to the wall but stopped, there was a shattered mirror at the foot of the wall. I escaped through the wall, and kept running until i found an abandoned house. There was a mirror inside that glowed red. I touched the mirror. 

The bunker (chapter 4) 

I woke up in a dusty room, noise came from down the hall, it was people talking. I walked into the room. There were four people, all I recognized. It was B2, C0, H4, and U1. “B7!!!” C0 yelled. “Ok guys this reunion may be nice, but we need to continue on what made the tunnels” U1 said sternly. B2 had a sad look on her face. “I am sorry B7, but we lost F7” said B2. B2 and F7 were two peas in a pod, you could not separate them. H4 walked up to me, “I see you have Y5’s journal” he said. “Come to my room I have something to show you” he continued. 

We walked to his room. I sat on his bed, he pulled something from under a chair. It was a scroll. He opened it, and his expression saddened. He showed it to me. It was just an eye, only an eye. “This is the Watcher” he said. “Do the others know?” I asked. “No, they do not” he said. "you seem ‘responsible’ enough to handle this”. 

The truth about F7’s disappearance was revealed. He went missing the same night the tunnels appeared. I asked H4 if the Watcher took him, he said he can’t do that. Suddenly the lights flickered. 

The massacre (chapter 5) 

The lights turned off, I was pushed to the side. “the watcher has grown tired of me!” H4 said. The lights flickered back on, nothing but a blood puddle on the ground. Bird-like footprints of mud covered the ground. B2 collapsed, beginning to gag. She threw up a black substance. 

The others patted her on her back and told her to fight it off. She began to look better after they said that. I just sat on a couch, reading through the notebook. Something caught my eye, it was called a Terror. It said it was a monster that burrows and is bird-like. Wait, only its feet are bird like the rest of it is horrifying. It also said its threat level is 9. but it said it has a weakness, bright lights about 450 watts. 

The others went to bed, I stayed in the room with B2. Soon, B2 went to bed, and I sat alone in the room. I walked into my room, looked like someone had been here not that long ago. A camera sat on the table next to the bed along with a satchel. The lights powered off, it was pitch-black. 

An escape (chapter 6) 

The walls began to echo, something was crawling right behind them. I grabbed the camera, and ran into B2’s room. “B2, we have to get out of here!” I said. She woke up in a daze, and went to the door, “I’ll go get H4, you get C0” B2 said. “B2?” I said, "H4 is gone”. 

Me and B2 went into C0’s room, but only U1 was there. He looked at a hole in the room. Suddenly C0 walked in, confused to see everyone in the room. She gasped when she saw the hole in the wall. The light flickered for a second, revealing something in the hole. 

It fully crawled out, it stood at least seven foot tall. Me and the others ran out of the room. The Terror followed us, it seemed disorientated. Suddenly white pupils appeared in its dark eyes. 

I grabbed my camera, and flashed it. It screamed in pain, and retreated into the darkness. We ran into the next room, and locked the door. Suddenly something banged against the door, pieces of wood scattered in every direction. 

U1 grabbed something from under a table. A gun, he locks on the door but suddenly the banging stopped, and the door was half destroyed. It came from the ceiling and pounced C0. U1 shot at it five times, only one bullet penetrated. I tackled the creature, I could not lose another friend. 

I pummeled the creature with my fists, it kicked me into the wall, and it was angry. It pinned me against the wall, baring its teeth. I grabbed the camera and flashed it. It screamed in a fury, U1 locked onto it, and shot until the gun was out of bullets.  

It climbed back into the roof and never came back. “Guys it's not safe here anymore, let's go to the mirror” said U1. 

 
 

The Labyrinth (chapter 7) 

We walked into a bronze room, though most of it was rusted, it contained a  mirror. “but if we go into the mirror we’ll be separated” I said. “that's not  how mirrors work, the same mirror leads to the same place” said C0. “are you sure we should leave the bunker U1” B2 asked. 

 

Suddenly I wasn’t with the others, I was in a hospital bed. A doctor walked in walked in with a syringe. I was at the lab, I was in my memories. The doctor injected me, I floated out of my body, now I was watching the surgery I had that day. 

The others were shaking me awake, they looked worried, and I was back in the rusted bronze room. We went up to the mirror and went one by one. U1 was first, then everyone else. We were inside a strange inside maze, the floors were smooth, the walls were covered in leaves, and the roof had lights and vents. 

The lights buzzed, we wandered around the maze. The sounds of machinery came from the walls, our shoes squeaked on the floor.  Soon we found a room, we walked in, and there was a sign. It said, “please enjoy!”. There were walkie talkies on a table. “This is weird” said U1,” why is there just walkie talkies, and everyone gets one and no extra”. 

Smoke (chapter 8) 

The vents began spewing fog, it soon took up every hallway. “What the heck!” said C0. “I hear F7 and H5” said B2. Everybody looked at her, confused and scared. “come closer Jessica” said some boy in the fog to me. Who was he calling to, my name wasn’t Jessica. It was B7. Then I remembered that I used to live at an orphanage, and I met a boy named, then I realized I could not remember. 

We kept walking through the fog. Soon we came to a dead end, I turned around and nobody was there. I turned on my radio to talk to the others.”B7 are you there” said C0 through the radio. “yes I am” I said, "good, I'm with B2” said C0, “what about U1” I asked. “I thought he was with you” pleaded C0. 

“Guys, don’t worry I'm fine” said U1. Silence, I could tell C0 did not trust him either. I walked into a room, the floor was a gate now, and a fan spun under it. I turned around and I was now in a new part of the maze. I was beginning to go crazy, every time I turned around, I was in a new place. I kept going until I found a hint of the others, a piece of cloth. My radio beeped, "everybody I found a mirror” said B2. 

“B7, B2 is with me and she has not found a mirror” said C0 over the radio. “what do you mean C0, I lost you a while ago” said B2. “AH-” screamed C0 over the radio. “What happened C0” asked B2 and she had worry in her voice. 

I ran as fast as I could go. Soon I found B2 crying next to a mirror. 

Blood has spilt (chapter 9) 

I went up to B2 and gave her a hug. U1 came from the fog bloody and bruised. He collapsed onto the ground. I picked him up, "I am sorry B7, but something here is a Skinwalker” he said. "Something snatched my radio” he continued. My radio beeped, “guys the B2 I was with was not B2, it was a strange looking lurker, I watched in horror as it peeled B2’s skin off it” C0 called over the radio. “I am bleeding severely, it sla-shed my stom-ach” C0 whispered over the radio. “Guys we have to find her before her time is up” B2 shouted as she stood up. 

She marched off, we followed. We all held hands, U1 carried the mirror. We soon found a blood trail. Suddenly the vents powered on and sucked in all the fog. We found C0 bleeding against a wall. I ripped off the bottom part of my shirt and wrapped it around C0’s stomach. We put the mirror against the wall, and we all touched it at the same time. 

Forgotten memories  (chapter 10) 

I was heading to the lunch room with my best friend (@%$*). He spent most of his time in the basement looking at the mirror. I ate with him, played with him, and just spend all my time with &*(#%-. He also had a friend named Ema, she was cold hearted towards me. 

The guy held my hand as I got into the van. He drove for a while, soon we pulled Infront of a big white building. The nice guy at the front desk called me special. He asked me how old I was, I said I was 5 and a quarter. He gave me a weird looking piece of candy, I ate it and felt drowsy. 

I woke up strapped down to a hospital bed, and my eye hurt. “Ah B7’s awake,” said a doctor. “my name’s B7?” I asked. "Of course, dear” said the doctor. Some pink wrinkly thing sat in a jar next to bloody tools. “What's that” I asked. The doctor immediately took away the cart while saying, “nothing dear!”.   

A familiar place (chapter 11) 

B2 shook me awake, my vision was blurry. “B7, are you ok” she said. We were in a cyan house. Ice cream truck music played outside. The house looked like the ones in the ocean, and the ground was grass outside. It reminded me of something, then I grabbed the notebook out of my pocket, and flipped to the bookmark where the species of lurker were. 

“Where are the others!” I gasped, “downstairs, B7” B2 said. I ran down the stairs and saw the others. They were sleeping and snoring very loudly. Soon they woke up, it turns out they found bandages. Somehow it was dark, it had only been five minutes. “Turn off the lights” U1 said. We flicked off all the lights. 

The ground shook, some light came in through the window for a second but dissipated. Then there was a roar and a scream, “somebody Heeelp!!!!” He pleaded. I didn’t know the voice, but it was still sad none the less. Soon it turned day and the ice cream music came back. 

Outside smelled like a mix of cut grass and the iron smell of rain. B2 came outside to see what I was doing, and told her I wasn’t doing anything, just getting a breath of fresh air. “Come in, we found some granola bars in a cabinet” B2 said. We all sat on the couch, while C0 laid down, but B2 sat really close to me while we all ate. U1 looked over, “B2 why are you sitting so close to B7” he asked. B2 blushed like crazy and scooted away. 

We found that there were three rooms each with a bed. We were all tired, especially C0, so we all claimed rooms, U1 and C0 got room one and room two. Me and B2 will have to share. 

The hotel (chapter 12) 

I woke up with B2 cuddling me, I was surprised, she woke up and immediately scooted away again. Her entire face was red, “I didn’t mean to, I swear” she said awkwardly. C0 walked into our room, “what happened, both of you are blushing?” C0 asked. Suddenly her face lit up, “so what happened” she said slyly. “Uuu-hh NOTHING!?!?” said C2 as quick as lightning. 

We walked out of the cyan house and walked in a random direction. B2 looked at her feet most of the time and was really shy. U1 gasped after C0 whispered something in his ear, then he looked at both me and B2. He went up to B2 and whispered something in her ear, she seemed to perk up after that. 

Something slapped my forehead, it was a rope. The rope went up to a massive building in the sky. We climbed the rope one by one and soon after we reached the entrance, we walked into the...HOTEL. We turned around but the entrance was gone, I felt a bad presence on top of something else. The feeling felt new and it made me feel good, it increased whenever I looked at B2. 

We wandered around until we heard something in the vents and dashed into rooms. Me and B2 ran into a room, and locked the door. Then banging came from the outside of our door. We hid in a closet together. 

It broke down the door, then B2 pinned me against the wall of the closet. It left as quickly as it came in, and the others came in a flash. B2 got really close to me before we left the closet when the others called our names. “why are you blushing so hard B7” asked U1, “I don’t know, I was just scared” I replied. “B7, you and B2 have been acting ‘strange’ lately” said C0. 

H1 and B2 whispered back to each other. While me and C0 just kept walking. I felt so flustered, my head spun whenever I looked at B2. 

Blossom (chapter 13) 

All the lights turned off, and we each got a room to ‘ourselves’. Someone climbed into my bed while I was trying to sleep. They locked their arms around me, and soon they were softly snoring. I woke up but no one was in my bed, though it looked like it. I walked to my bathroom and was surprised to see C0 in there, “sorry my water doesn’t work and I want to wash my face” she said. B2 was pacing around, mumbling something under her breath. When she saw me, her face lit up. “Hi B7!” She said loudly. 

We wandered through the hotels until we came across someone. “P9 is that you?” asked U1. “Other survivors!” He said joyfully. His shirt was covered in blood and grime, but he had no cuts. He had a dazed look in his eyes like he witnessed something he wasn’t supposed to. “Have you encountered the creature in the vents?” P9 asked. “Yes?” We all said. “did you lose anybody, cause that thing massacred my group of 5 in seconds” he said. 

Suddenly the vent gate burst open, and P9 was standing right beneath it. Razor sharp claws attached to a lanky pale arm plucked up P9 in a flash. I grabbed B2 by the hand and ran into a room with her. We went into the closet and hid. 

The thing came into our room, B2 looked at me with a special look in her eyes. “If I’m going to die might as well do this” she whispered softly to me. She grabbed my face, and got really close. “I love you, B2” she said. She leaned in and kissed me, a warm feeling passed through my body. 

“Leave my friends alone” said U1. BANG,BANG,BANG, the room fell silent, B2 leaned back. We opened the closet door. The creature laid dead on the floor, and it body went up in purple flames. 

A broken god (chapter 14) 

We walked into a grand hall and a golden mirror stood in the middle of the room, we went up to it. All my feelings pumped through my body but began to dissipate. The feeling stayed inside me though, and I found the word for it, LOVE. 

We touched the mirror, we could feel the power it held. We teleported to a temple, statues of eyes were everywhere, and I could feel them watching us. I tightened my grip on B2’s hand. 

We came across a giant wooden door, about ten feet tall. We opened it, the middle there was a ritual going on. A giant eye was in the middle, the Watcher. It stared at us for awhile, “children I see your injuries, yet you are not weak” It said. He stared at me and B2, “you kids are the strongest” It said, “I cannot act on you since you're not broken”. A rainbow mirror appeared, “this will lead you back to the real world” it said, “but you will not stay for long”. 

We all walked up to the mirror but I stopped and said, “what are you”. “ a dark force is what I am, people who yearn for something too much get sucked into my dimension to see how much they really want”. 

 

The lab (chapter 15) 

We arrived at a highway, I had a feeling we had to move. Cars sped past us, nobody was looking at us. They only snapped a look because me and B2 were holding hands. We went into an alley way. C0 rested against the wall, mostly because she was injured. 

 A van pulled up at the entrance of the alleyway. Big guys stepped out of the van and came towards us. They were holding tranquilizers. They aimed the guns at us, we began running, U1 carried C0. The guys were fast and had a ranged weapon. It wasn’t long until there was a dead end. 

I woke up in my lab bed. The notebook was no longer in my pocket. Thankfully, I still had all my memories of the realm. Soon it was lunchtime, so I was escorted to the cafe. I was able to see the others at the cafe. I sat next to B2, and I noticed we were the only ones that were in the cafe. C0 scarfed down on the PB and J with an apple, me and the others picked at our food. 

All four of us were escorted to the exercise room. We didn’t talk about the realm, so the lab doesn’t find out about it. When the guard saw me holding B2’s hand, he scoffed and separated us. But that did not stop B2, she glared at the guard and scooted back towards me. 

Then, they took us to a conference room. There was 4 chairs, each for one of us. A scientist with a name tag sat across us, “Dr.Walts top researcher”. 

Questions, questions, questions (chapter 16) 

He started by asking, “what happens to all the subjects we send through the mirror”. “Many things” said C0 pointing at her bandages. “Next question, why can only kids go through the mirror?” Walts asked. “Wait, how do you know that the kids die” asked U1. “We see their vital signs die out” he answered. “Some of their vital signs go wild then they're really strange after that”, “A breath every two minutes” Walts said while looking at his notes. “Why is that?” Walts asked. 

“They get sick, that’s all” B2 said and gripped my hand tighter under the table. “Sick with what, a normal sickness does not do this” Walts countered. We all froze, we didn’t know how to answer that. “a parasite that attacks the heart” I said trembling. 

“Hm weird” Walts said, showing he did not care. He probably thought it was a lie.me and B2 sank into our chairs, we shared something and all it got was a rude remark. “What is the mirror??” He asked, this is something we did not know. “We don’t know doc,” said U1. “Fine here’s another one, where does the mirror take you?” 

“I don’t know, California” C0 answered. “Hmm weird, and how do you think we found you so fast, lair” he said. C0 seemed shocked. “When we sent you through the mirror, you were no longer on planet earth. “Our guess is that the mirror takes you to another dimension” Walts said. He knew way more about the mirror than us. We were frozen, every claim we made was either dismissed or proved wrong. 

Sent like a letter (chapter 17) 

U1 asked him a very good question. “If you have vital signs, how many more kids are alive”. He pressed a button, and a worker brought him a tablet. “About ten kids, without any strange vital signs” Walts replied. “Who!” C0 yelled, “let's see, G0, D8, T3, I1, O5, V4, L9, Q2, and finally H4” Walts replied. Everyone gasped at that, tears welled up in C0’s eyes, and U1 seemed petrified. 

Walts gasped, “well there's nine now”. “Also, how many kids did you send off-” her voice was broken, it was clear that she was heartbroken. “About 130” said Walts, unfazed. “How many made it out” I asked, there was a lump in my throat. “Only one besides you guys” said Walts. “Wh--at Happ-ened to him-” B2 asked as she began crying. "He would not cooperate” he replied, I felt like this guy had no soul at all. 

“What was h-is na-me" U1 asked. “Hmmm, oh it was F7” Walts replied. B2 hugged me and wept on my shoulder. 

We were sent to a room with four, very comfortable beds. We all passed out in our beds, and B2 was so heartbroken to hear that the lab killed F7. We woke up in the morning and were taken back to the room. “When we sent Y5 we learned objects can pass through with a child” Walts said as we entered the room. “It’s time for the next phase” he remarked as he glared at us. 

“Guards take the kids to the “FUN” room” he said. “also begin looking into kids that need adopting so we can experiment more while their gone” he told a scientist next to him as the guards took us to the ‘fun’ room. 

I held on tight to B2’s hand as we walked down the hallway. “he doesn’t show how valuable you guys are to us” the guard told us, “Don’t go into the mirror when you get in the room, wait for me to give you your supplies”. 

The Pool rooms (chapter 18) 

The guard walked in carrying small backpacks, “has everything you kids need, guns, food, and medical supplies” he remarked. Radios hung on the sides of all the backpacks, the guard saw me looking at the radios. “They are only for talking to your team or any more groups we send” the guard reassured, “and cameras, the picture and video type”. The guard pointed at U1’s backpack, “that has the journal that one kid worked on, I gave it to you because you seem smart and kind of a leader” 

He left the room. We put on our new backpacks and touched the mirror. We arrived in this white tiled room, we looked closer and saw many pools, bright cyan and clear. The place was liminal, like a dream. “Guys this is the perfect place to decompress!” said C0. 

“What about your injury?” U1 asked, “oh, they stitched me up” C0 replied. We looked through our bags for swimsuits or shorts. We found swimsuits and even battery powered drying gear. Me and the rest of the girls went off into a different room to change. We were so excited to jump into the pool. We regrouped with U1, we’d almost had come too early, poor C0 saw something she’d not want to see. 

We all jumped into the pool together, and when we got back up to the surface, I splashed B2 and U1. C0 giggled and U1 sent a tidal wave towards her. We swam for a while until we thought it was time to get out. 

Loch ness (chapter 19)  

We were drying our clothes until we heard an echo, it sounded like a whale call. We put our swimming gear back into our bags and went into a hallway. The call saddened when we went through the hallway. We found another giant area with pools. Somehow seaweed infested the waters, but still the water was a clear cyan. We found a path through the area. The thing called again but sounded closer. 

I went up to B2 and held her hand, this was a moment when we needed comfort. Something burst out of the water. It looked like a brachiosaurus, but it had fins instead of legs. It was blueish green, and I remembered a fact about brachiosaurus, their herbivores. It just sat there looking at us. “It’s harmless," it won’t hurt us” I called. 

“How do you know that, B7” C0 questioned, “It would have attacked us by now” I challenged. It reached over and grabbed C0 by the shirt, “HEY!” C0 yelled. Then it put C0 on It’s back. It grabbed the rest of us and put us on its back. B2 rested on my shoulder, everyone was comfortable, U1 and C0 were talking as well. 

It took us to a deep pool of water, at the bottom of the pool there was a mirror. We grabbed plastic bags that were floating in the water and put our backpacks in them, so our stuff didn't get wet. We dived into the water and began swimming towards the mirror. 

The hive (chapter 20) 

I woke up next to B2, I looked around but couldn't see the others, we were in some kind of cave system. C0 called on the radio, “guys, I think we’ve been separated”. I woke up B2 and we walked down the tunnel. We walked till we eventually came across something, B2 gasped, a kid had been ripped open and consumed by black goop. 

I opened my backpack and grabbed a gun, and B2 did the same. The tunnel rumbled, something or something was moving our way. C0 was coming our way, kids, wait not kids. The kids had been consumed by black sludge and have sprouted tentacles from their chests. C0 was running and shooting, and we began running as well. 

We turned a corner and the things barreled past, unaware we weren’t Infront of them. We heard a heartbeat, it rumbled the entire cave system. Someone grabbed onto my shoulder. It was U1, “don’t scare me like that U1!” I said. He went up to C0 and hugged her, “I was so scared when I found out I was alone” he cried as he kept hugging C0, eventually letting go. “We have to get out of here, I don’t know how the infection works, but we have to get out” I remarked. “I do-” B2 said quietly. “It’s because I’ve been infected with it before” she continued. “The first symptom is vomiting black sludge”, “then you feel chest pain, but most ignore it”, “then they become one of those things”, “It starts when someone loses hope” she finished. 

“Then why is there a heartbeat” C0 asked. “it’s most likely the Plaque at the center of this thing “said a voice from behind us, sounding familiar.  we all turned and froze, it was H4. “What?” U1 said. “The Watcher isn’t the only god in the Realm” H4 said. “We thought you died in the bunker!” said B2 as she clung to me. “what do you mean there are other gods” I asked. 

“Oh B7, the Watcher might be number one but that doesn’t mean he’s alone” he told me, “like the Construir, who built each realm”. “And there is veritas, who is each and every mirror”. “Then what are the monsters?" C0 asked. “Feelings but mostly fear” H4 answered.  “So, the heartbeat is a god” U1 asked. “Of course, I already said its name, the Plaque”. 

A mirror appeared behind us. “Goodbye guys, don’t worry, I’ll keep a close eye on you” he said as he jogged off. “Something seemed off about him” B2 remarked. 

The library (chapter 21) 

We woke up in a bright giant library, double doors that only led to more library. U1 went up to a book and started reading it, “it’s blank!” He called. Something big started moving our way, at that moment I saw the sign, “SHHH, HE NEEDS HIS SLEEP” the sign said. A long pale arm with razor sharp claws wrapped around bookshelves, heading in the direction of U1. A demonic scream filled the library, U1 hit the deck as the arm swiped over his head. 

We launched ourselves under some tables, something large passed and went into the next room. “What was that thing, it was huge” B2 whispered to me. Another scream echoed through the library, then it began heading back our way. That's when we noticed the shelf was tipping over. Bang, the thing screamed once it fell, and soon it was in the same room as us. It was tall and skinny, fully white like snow, and had pitch-black eyes with small, tiny pupils. 

It screamed multiple times in multiple directions. We crawled behind a counter. Then some boy ran into the room, jumped at the sight of the monster and tried to run back from the door he came from. It drove its claws into his back, picked him up, and swallowed him like a snake. The thing walked off, we were safe at last. Soft breathing filled the library. 

We found a bright white mirror, U1 went up and touched it. It shatters, the soft breathing stopped. “Why did it shatter!” U1 called. U1 pulled out his gun, “wait stop, shooting will only agitate it more” I told him. It screamed and started heading for us. 

“I also think it has echolocation” I said quietly, “what is that?” C0 asked. “yeah B7 what is tha-” U1 called. The things clawed pierced through his arm. I quickly grabbed the knife from my bag. I threw it to C0, who was closer. “Thanks, B7” C0 called. She slammed the knife into the monster's arm, the arm detached like a lizard's tail. 

We grabbed U1, who had passed out from blood loss, and hid him behind the counter. The monsters wound immediately closed, and began to expand. Soon it had a brand-new arm, claws, and everything. That's when I realized it had a shocking resemblance to the monster in the hotels. It was 10x bigger than the other one though, and the other one did not regenerate. 

It walked out of the room and went back to sleep. “U1, hand me the notebook” I said. I flipped through the notebook till I came across the monster's entry. Reacts to sound, unkillable, and violent. It was called a Shredder, and there is only one big one, the rest are small and agile, but still deadly. 

We needed to get out without making a sound. 

The office (chapter 22) 

We walked out of the room, the opposite direction of the Shredder, and we came across an elevator. It opened when we got close, “probably an entrance to another level” U1 said. He was right, just like at the hotels, you can enter a level through another level. We walked into the elevator, and as soon as we all got in the doors closed. 

We walked out of the elevator into an office building. The lights buzzed, objects like mugs or computers floated in the air. The elevator had disappeared behind us. A camera watched the room, glowing a bright red, it had not seen us yet, and we probably did not want to be seen. 

B2 doubled over holding her stomach. “My entire stomach is cramping” said B2 in a weak voice. I went up to her and lifted her onto my back, her entire body was shaking from the pain. “Thank yo-u" B2 said and kissed my cheek. We kept on moving through the office, avoiding the cameras, of course. 

A metal gate fell over a door with an alarm, we checked inside the room, and a boy had been spotted. Metal arms came from the ceiling and grabbed him, then opened the floor and dropped him. Something beeped from my backpack, B2 grabbed it and handed it to me. It was the vital records. 

Someone named I1 had their vital signs spiking, we just saw another kid from the lab's experiments. C0 grabbed her knife out of her bag and destroyed the camera in our room. The alarm sounded immediately, we were done for. The floor began sliding into the wall. Soon all we had was a ledge to stand on. C0 and U1 hugged me and B2, and we fell. 

A moth to a lightbulb (chapter 23) 

We woke up in a dark area, lamps lit up small areas. Something was moving in the dark, in fact, multiple things. I checked to see if everyone was okay and was sick to my stomach. C0 was bleeding from the head, the others were all right but unconscious. 

C0 still had a pulse. The others woke up and immediately checked on C0. we grabbed bandages out of our bags, or any we had left after patching up U1. U1 picked her up like a sack of potatoes and put her on his back. My flashlight would not work, in fact anything that used electricity did not work. 

Our lamp began flickering, we had to get out of here. We stepped into the darkness. Somehow, we were able to get halfway through the darkness, until something touched my shoulder, bright white eyes stared at me. I remembered a monster that the notebook described, it was a lurker, an apex predator. Lurkers were walking shadows with bright white eyes. 

It shoved me away from the group. It had surprising strength and sent me flying away from the light. The others had reached the light and looked around for me. “B7! where are you!” I heard B2 call. I reached into my bag and pulled out something I didn't want to use in a while, a flash grenade. 

I pull the pin and throw it at the pair of eyes. It went off, I immediately grabbed my gun and fired it at the lurker who was stunned. Then, more eyes popped out of the darkness, more than a dozen of them. I ran into the light as fast as I could. B2 hugged me as tight as she could possibly could, tears streaming down her face. C0’s eyes fluttered open, “where are we?”. 

Building 3008 (chapter 24) 

A mirror popped up behind us, it glowed a dark red like the color of blood. We all went up to the mirror and touched it. I woke up in a bed, B2 was with me but the others were nowhere to be seen. I looked around, and we were in a massive furniture store. There were holes in the ground, and bases made of furniture and covered in blood stains. 

We walked into a base, a note hung on the wall. “If you're new here well you're just in luck, this place has a night and day system and plenty of supplies but stay quiet and out of the dark at night, from G0”. We were not going to spend a night in one of those bases. Me and B2 slid under a bed just as the lights turned off, we had stolen a blanket from the bed and were snug. Me and B2 fell asleep in each other's arms, and B2 kissed me on my forehead and said, “goodnight”. 

The lights turned on. I woke up with B2 on top of me, and she was hugging me tightly. I had to shake her awake. We got up and began exploring the place. We found burgers and a microwave. My body shook with relief, and a burst of energy went through me. I hadn’t noticed how hungry I was. We found other foods too, like chocolate bars and chips and stuffed them into our backpacks. 

We noticed that they had no mirrors, I mean normal mirrors, not the gateways. We found a ball and a bat and began playing 2-man baseball. I hit a homerun and it went flying behind a wall. “Yowch!” a voice yelled. We ran over, it was L9, a quiet but sarcastic girl. Her clothes were torn which showed a little too much. She wasn’t hurt, but still looked like she had been through a lot. 

“oh sorry my clothes are ripped and show a little too much” L9 said, “ I was attacked by the crusher”. “Oh, you don’t know what that is” she said sarcastically, “well, it's this massive tentacle monster, but the tentacles have hands on them, and it lives under the building and drags people through those holes” she said. The lights flickered, “ten more minutes of light” L9 said. 

“Follow me, I’ll take you guys to the others” L9 said as she started walking. “Who?” B2 asked. “D8, G0, and V4” she responded, “also how many people did you come with” she asked. “4, Me, B2, C0, and U1” I responded. 

sanctuary (chapter 25) 

She took us to one of those areas in a mall with those massive metal gates that come from the ceiling. She grabbed our hands and rushed us in, she pulled a lever to close the door, the gate was thin enough to see through. We walked up carpeted stairs into a big room. Tree house-like buildings were built on the walls each with a sign that stated someone's name. There were about three houses without anyone's ownership. “ are you two okay sleeping together?” L9 asked.  

“It’s alright, especially since-” B2 stopped in her conversation and realized L9 did not know what was happening between them. “Especially since what?” L9 said as she cocked her head. “We-re we-re...” B2 said as her face turned to the color of cherries. “Dating” I said, “yeah...” B2 said. L9 gasped and looked back and forth at both of us. “But you’re both girls” L9 said. 

“So what” a voice called from a house. D8 hopped out of a house and walked our way. He had an annoyed expression on his face. “it just isn't natural, only a boy and girl are supposed to love each other!” L9 said. Someone knocked on the door, “I found more survivors, guys!”. L9 stomped off towards the door. Soon a group came into the room. U1 and C0 were surprised to see us, and ran up to us and gave us a hug each. 

G0 and V4 walked in and saw everyone's expressions. “What happened?” V4 asked, she had a south accent. “well I got a story for you, B7 and B2 are dating even though they’re both girls!” L9 yelled. everyone glared at her, “what!?” she said. “L9, one day I am going to slap you un-silly" G0 said. “Also, that’s not how love works, L9” D8 said. “I DON’T CARE!” L9 yelled. B2 went up to her. L9 pushed her back, then B2 walked back up to her, and slapped her. 

L9’s cheek had a pink handprint on it. L9 walked away and climbed into her house. I went up to B2 and hugged her, “ready for bed?” I said softly, B2 nodded. 

Bird brain (chapter 26) 

Everyone was silent, as if the slap was still echoing. G0 walked up to a light switch and flicked it off. V4 assigned C0 and U1 cabins, and everyone went into their houses. B2 cried into my shoulder as we laid in bed.  

Everyone came out of their houses at about the same time. L9 hung her head and when she did talk, it came out as a croak. We spent the day walking around and grabbing food in the store area. Nobody grouped up with L9. V4 found me and B2 somehow. “she is still broken from when her boyfriend got killed” she told us. 

Suddenly the lights flickered off. “That’s not supposed to happen!” V4 called, “there is supposed to be forty more minutes”. Arms burst out of the holes and began feeling around. Then an arm grabbed B2 by the shirt, I quickly grabbed onto B2. B2’s shirt ripped off, good thing she had a bra. 

I took off my shirt and gave it to B2. Suddenly the ground shook, and the ground about a mile away busted open. “It’s the awakening” V4 said. A massive bird-like head busted out of the ground. It had no feathers and was covered in blood. It coughed out thousands of bones which transformed into furniture. 

It screeched, and my ears began bleeding. It began gagging, soon it gagged up an egg, and it slid into the hole. The thing pulled out elephant-like legs that were as tall as skyscrapers. It pulled in its arms, each arm was like a branch, each one had tons of twigs or arms in this case. It pulled all of its arms into holes in its torso. It stepped out of the ground and looked up. Its body turned grey then turned into dust. The hole in the ground disappeared and the lights turned back on. 

All of us were traumatized. It was all everyone talked about at the safe house. 

Frostbite (chapter 27) 

G0 went into his house to show everyone. He pulled out a mirror and propped it against a wall. “I found this yesterday and hid it in my house” G0 said, “we all know that mirrors act like portals, so this is a way to get out of here” he continued. All of us went up to it and put a hand on it. 

I woke up in a cabin, B2 and V4 were there too. We walked outside, we had waken up in some kind of camp, snow was falling. I looked down and was horrified from what I saw, Terror tracks. A demonic screech came from the forest, followed by stomping towards us. “What is that thing!?” V4 said. 

I grabbed V4’s hand and dragged her to a cabin, she was petrified. B2 had to help me get her moving. A screech filled the air, but this one was different. I walked into the forest. The terrors lifeless body laid on the ground. Its stomach had been ripped open, blood stained the fresh snow. The terror was hollow, something feasted on it quickly and dashed away before they got there. 

The others found us hovering over the body. G0 gagged at the sight of the body. I grabbed the notebook from U1’s backpack. I flipped through each page, I hoped Y5 took notes on some creature that can do this. I reached empty pages. “Help!” B2 yelped, her foot was sinking into the snow, also where all the freshest blood was. I pulled her out, it was powder snow, most likely where the monster went. I looked through the notebook and a page fell out, titled “THE FROSTBITE”. The page was blank it only said, “there is no info about it, it is most likely a fairy tale”. 

“Hey, I know you guys!” a voice called, it was O5. Giant bone spines raised behind him and began moving towards him, the snow exploded and he was gone. The group gasped, a decapitated arm laid on the ground. We all ran towards a cabin, we did not want to stay outside. Spines raised in front of me, L9 pushed me out of the way. The snow settled and L9 was gone. Suddenly a hand popped up out of the snow, G0 grabbed the hand and lifted L9 out of the snow. 

She had many fatal wounds, we used the rest of our bandages on her. We had to cut off her hand because it was destroyed. V4 grabbed sticks and tape and made braces for her legs. She passed out, G0 lifted her onto his back and started carrying her. I noticed how cold I was, I forgot I had no shirt because I gave it to B2 after the crusher ripped Her's off. 

B2 saw how cold I was and started grabbing logs. Soon she had a fire going. G0 put down L9 next to the fire, I grabbed some food out of my bag and began eating, the Frostbite seemed to be staying away. 

Thawing (chapter 28) 

It circled around the area we were in, it seemed to be afraid of the fire. I grabbed a pen and found a blank page and wrote about the Frostbite. “Frostbite, threat:9, weakness: heat, an ambush predator” I wrote. I had a idea, I grabbed the one bottle of lighter fuel we had. “What are you doing B7?” C0 asked, “getting rid of the threat” I replied. 

I grabbed my lighter and walked to a tall stump. The Frostbite stopped circling the base and headed towards me. I climbed on top of the stump and watched as the Frostbite sank into the snow. It did something I did not expect. 

It jumped out of the snow. It was a skeleton, it was a skeletal Spinosaurus, all its bones were cyan and shiny. It was at least 20 feet tall and menacing. I squirted all the lighter fuel onto it. I grabbed my lighter, it saw it in my hand and leaped at me. I dove into the snow. It sped past and knocked down a tree. 

It got up and charged at me. It slammed its foot onto me, and pinned me to the ground by my back. My lighter sank into the snow and disappeared. FOOOM! The frostbite exploded in flames. B2 was behind it holding her lighter, the others grabbed me and pulled me away from the Frostbite. The frostbite began dripping, it was melting. 

But that’s not how monsters die in the realms, they burn in purple flames. It rose back up from the snow. The Frostbite was back. We all immediately ran back towards the camp as it reformed. It roared and a blizzard began. 

Hypothermia (chapter 29) 

G0 grabbed L9 and ran into the cabin. She was shivering. The blizzard thickened. Our fire outside got snuffed out. Thumping came from almost all directions, we could not pin point the location of it. The windows began cracking from all the pressure outside. I had an idea, I told everyone my idea and they agreed. 

The cabin creaked, the lights flickered. The floor cracked open, it was coming. We had already ran out of the house, I grabbed bug spray and C0’s lighter. I used my makeshift flamethrower to light the cabin on fire, the burning cabin collasped onto the Frostbite. The orange flames turned into a bright purple in a short while. It was gone for good. 

We regrouped in another cabin, everyone was there, me, B2, L9, U1, C0, G0, and V4. L9’s lips were blue, we lit a fire, checked her pulse, and thankfully she was still alive. Soon the blizzard outside turned into a small bit of snow fall. We all warmed up, and I looked through my bag for extra clothes. I found a small sweater, I put it on, it was comfy. 

B2 came and sat next to me and laid her head on my shoulder. She kissed me on the cheek and said, “good job B7”. 

Learning with demons (chapter 30) 

We explored all of the cabins until we came across another mirror. We all touched the mirror, G0 had to help L9 touch the mirror. We woke up in a hallway, it was filled with lockers. “It’s a school” V4 said, most likely because none of us have gone to school, not even her. U1 pointed towards the wall, it said “avoid the janitor”. 

Something banged through the vents. But it seemed to be going in the opposite direction of a hallway that had no light. The darkness seemed to be moving away from us, soon the darkness disappeared behind a corner. I got a sudden gut feeling to bolt. 

“Did you guys also feel a weird feeling of fear” C0 asked. B2 stepped forward but tripped over something. It was a tripwire, and it activated an alarm. Dark fog seeped through the vents, the lights malfunctioned and powered off. I felt dizzy when I breathed in the fog, and V4 collapsed onto the ground. We began dropping like flies, soon my vision blurred and I blacked out. 

We all woke up in a classroom. There was something on the whiteboard, “two strikes and you’re out”. L9 woke up, she reached to scratch her head but realized that her hand was gone. She looked at her bandaged body. “what happened?” she asked, “we had to amputate your hand when you were attacked by the Frostbite” G0 responded. She stood up and immediately her legs buckled, thankfully G0 caught her in time. Her braces on her legs were not working as planned, and she still was super weak. 

“What would happen if we got another strike” U1 asked. “It’s most likely we would be killed, or worse” C0 responded. Everyone shivered when C0 said that. 

Cleaning blood with a mop (chapter 31) 

We went up to the door. V4 grabbed the handle. ZAP! V4 backed up from the door, she was holding her hand. Her hand went limp, “my hand!” She yelped. G0 grabbed onto the grate of a vent, ZAP! He stepped back, “we’re trapped!” He remarked. V4 soon regained control of her hand. 

U1 lifted a desk and began ramming it into the door. G0 and D8 helped U1 ram it into the door, most likely because they are all boys. The door fell off its hinges, and we all walked out. The darkness appeared around a corner, and it was heading for us. We began running away, C0 and G0 helped L9 run. “we can’t be caught by the darkness, remember last time, we all passed out, and this time there will be a punishment." U1 said. 

We were able to lose the darkness, but we were only able to catch our breath for a few seconds. In the bathroom, there was a lot of banging. A disassembled body was thrown Infront of us. Squid-like tentacles came out of the bathroom. We ran the opposite direction. 

We walked into a cafe, blood splattered everywhere. Some of the tiles were higher than the floor. U1 pressed on a tile with his hand, a long metal spike came out. “It has traps” U1 said. Tentacles came out of the vents both on the ground and floor, they closed all the entrances and exits. We were trapped, tentacles grabbed at us, trying to force us towards the traps. 

V4 stepped on a plate, the entire floor around her collapsed, and that included all of us. 

 

 

Painful memories (chapter 32) 

I woke up in my bed at the lab, I was at least 2 feet shorter. Bruises were all over my body, I remembered this day, it was the day I tried to escape while going to the cafeteria. They had beaten me because I tried to escape. Blood seeped from out of many cuts on my body, they had broken my wrist, they put a cast on it. They were going to perform another surgery on my body, so I had tried to escape. 

A guy walked into the room and tried to grab me, and I slipped through his legs and went through the door. He grabbed me by my head and began to suffocate me, my body went limp. He put straps on my wrists, I was now on a lab table, scary tools were on the cart next to me. 

The surgery was done, my head throbbed, and the doctor smiled maliciously at me. “B7 is now ready for the mirror, she just needs to mature” the doctor said into a speaker. The guard grabbed me and led me to my room. The guard said something to me, “I’ve been in the realm before, and I can tell you one thing, do not be alone”. 

“Who are you?” I asked, “I am Thomas” the guard replied. He closed the door, the lights in my room shut off. I sat in my bed, I felt memories leaving my head, even the guard telling me who he was had left my mind. 

G0 stood over me when I woke up, “jeez I thought we lost you” he said. 

Thalassophobia (chapter 33) 

We were in a house, I recognized this place, it was the first realm I had been in. The water was dark blue, so we could tell that it was deep. The sky was dark grey, and it rained a little. Houses were scattered around, a few halfway in the fog. About 100 feet we could see, and the rest was covered by fog. “Woah it’s just like the cyan houses” U1 remarked, he was right the houses were cyan, but most of the paint had eroded away or had gotten covered in moss. “But instead of grass there is ocean” G0 said. “I’ve been here before, but it seems more dangerous, also I have a theory, that this realm is somehow connected to the other cyan houses” I said. 

We huddled up and used the rest of the fuel on U1’s lighter to make a fire with some pieces of wood we found. “It’s so cold!” C0 said, she was shivering, U1 came over and gave her his sweater. Now she had two sweaters on. B2 sat down next to me, she had put on her sweater too. G0 and V4 kept L9 warm, her wounds still really bad. The house shook, the water went wild. Birds began spiraling around in one area. The bird stopped spiraling and all began flying in one direction, I walked over to see what happened, there was a giant shadow in the water. 

I ran back to the group, they asked me what I saw. I told them that we should not try to swim through the water. Yet again, they asked me why. I told them that we could freeze, or drown in the deep water, one my reasons was that the waves were unpredictable. They seemed to believe me. “Now how are we going to get out of here” B2 said. D8 stood up and looked out into the ocean. D8 ran as fast as he could back to us, “hide it’s a massive wave” he called. 

The wave smashed into the house, it destroyed the doors and windows. It began filling the house with wild waters. The wall collapsed and we were sucked into the ocean. I grabbed onto B2’s hand as we were sucked out into the sea. I slammed into a house, my head began bleeding. B2 lifted me out of the water, “PLEASE BE OKAY B7” she told me as I blacked out. 

I woke up, B2 and V4 were panicking. When B2 saw I was awake she immediately pulled me into her arms. They had cleaned my wound with a piece of cloth from my sweater. I was glad our backpacks were water-proof. 

Seasick (chapter 34) 

 We set up shelter in the house we had drifted to, it seemed that the house that we were in was the only one affected by the wave. B2 kept me warm with her body heat, tears streamed down her face. V4 paced around the house, she glanced out into the sea every now and then. There was a knock on the door. It was L9, she was dripping with water, luckily her wounds did not open back up. 

She sat down across the room from us, now it was me, B2, V4, and L9 in this house. She glared at me and B2, “I am still not going to accept two girls dating even though I am broken,” she said. Everyone froze, even V4, who stopped and glared at L9. “There is no way you are going to start back up on that L9, just shut up!” V4 told L9. “Mind your own business V4” L9 said and turned back towards us. 

The house shook, wood dust came from the roof and clouded the room. Everyone coughed, I covered my eyes, so wood dust didn't get in them. Cracking noises came from the roof. Soon a giant beak came through the roof and into the room we were in. A giant pelican came from the roof and glared at us. It was about 7 feet tall, but not as intimidating as other monsters. I grabbed a knife from my bag, but B2 snatched it from me. 

The pelican moved toward V4 and L9, B2 walked behind it. The house shook, the pelican screamed and flew out the hole in the roof. Then there was a massive bang, the house tilted, we were sinking. We ran out of the house and jumped into the water. Something was under us, and it was circling us. We swam as fast as we could to the next house but we couldn’t make it in time. 

Someone grabbed my arm, it was C0 and she was lifting me up onto a tiny sailboat. We all hopped on, and caught out breath. We were all back together again, all eight of us. “Where did you get this boat?” I asked. “we found it at some strange dock, how about we go back there” C0 said. 

We arrived at a dock, attached to it was a lighthouse. 

Syringes and bandages (chapter 35) 

We walked into the lighthouse, and in the corner was a mirror. “Finally, we can get out of this place!” G0 said, practically jumping over C0. “HEY!” C0 called to G0, he had already ran across the room to the mirror. We all ran to the mirror, and each put a hand on it. 

We woke up in a room, blood was splattered everywhere, and strait jackets were scattered on the floor. V4 tapped on my shoulder, “hey, how come you, B2, C0, and U1 have backpack and the rest of us do not?” She asked. “Yeah, why is that? D8 asked. “When we met you guys, you all had backpacks. Where did you get them, because the Lab never gave us backpacks when sending us into The Realm” V4 followed up. 

“Well, I guess it is time I tell you guys” I said, “we escaped from the realm before, but the Lab sent us back” I continued. “HOW?!” G0 said, V4 froze, and L9 and D8 had surprised looks on their faces. “They have trackers on us, but they cannot track us in The Realm” U1 said. “They also said that The Realm is a different dimension” U1 continued, “I am pretty sure we all assumed that” V4 said. 

“TELL US HOW YOU GOT OUT OF HERE!” L9 screamed, “woah calm down, L9” G0 said. “Please tell us how you escaped,” said D8, L9 tried to speak but G0 put his hand over her mouth. “It was strange, but we escaped because the god of The Realm, The Watcher, let us go” I said. 

Something was behind the door. 

Ripcage (chapter 36) 

Something began to bang on the door, we panicked. “Hey in here” a voice whispered, and a ladder dropped from a vent. We began to climb the ladder, the door began to collapse. We got into the vents and saw a face that I did not want to see. H4 was there. “Hey, it looks like you found some friends, B7” H4 said. H4 just smiled, and it appeared to be hurting him. 

“Hmmm, it does appear you know how dangerous some realms are like the Ocean one, or maybe the Office” H4 said. “Wait, how do you know that we went to the Ocean one?” V4 asked. “I know everything” H4 responded. Our entire group shivered. “Well, our time was short, but it’s time for me to go” H4 said as he crawled away. We followed H4 into a room, when we dropped down, he was gone. 

We walked into the hall, wheelchairs, drawers, and carts were scattered everywhere. We heard gurgling, we looked around then we saw her. Q2 was bleeding out on the ground, blood was spilling out of her. “P-le-ase he-lp" she whispered. “Find something to help her, bandages, whatever!” I said, I ran to her, and I clutched her wound shut as best as I could. B2 and C0 took off, and then the rest of them followed. I stayed by her side and kept her wound shut, she seemed to be fading in and out of consciousness. D8 immediately came back, he was holding bandages, rubbing alcohol, and a scalpel.  

He immediately pushed me to the side and began working on her wound. He began to cut something out of the giant gash in her stomach, a sharp tooth. He stopped cutting and began ripping some cloth of his shirt. He put rubbing alcohol on it and began cleaning her wound. After a while she had been patched up, but unconscious. “It seems you care a lot about her” I said, “she’s my best friend, I haven’t seen her since the Lab shipped me off” D8 responded. 

D8 lifted Q2 onto his back, and began to move. “Wait we can’t leave we have to wait for the others” I said. “The blood is most likely going to attract unwanted attention” D8 responded. “We will just move more down the hall, not go down to far, just move away from all this blood” D8 said. I followed him, we soon found a room and went into it. B2 and U1 were searching every drawer in this room, at one point they almost ran into each other. 

D8 just walked over and placed Q2 on a hospital bed. U1 and B2 noticed and stopped panicking. 

Rest (chapter 37) 

Everyone eventually found us. Q2 was sleeping soundly on her bed. V4 found that there was a lock on the door, and clicked the door shut. C0 jumped into a bed and snuggled up. The rest of us followed her example by finding a bed, B2 of course hopped into my bed with me. U1 flicked off the light and crawled back into bed. 

I woke up, I walked around and got everyone else up from their slumber. Even Q2 woke up, she looked around and was surprised by seeing so many faces. “I thought I died!” Q2 said. She lifted up her shirt and saw the bandages. “Wait I know this patchwork, is D8 in here?” Q2 asked. She looked around the room until she saw D8. She ran over to D8 and hugged him tightly. Tears began streaming down D8’s face, soon he began hugging Q2 too. 

B2 walked over to me and hugged me. Everyone seemed to be recovering emotionally from everything we have went through. Q2 sat back down because her body began to hurt. We began to get ready to move, I managed to change into some spare clothes. We walked out of the room, D8 was carrying Q2. 

Confrontation (chapter 38) 

We walked until we saw a door open. “Hey, we didn’t open that door” V4 said, “yeah, she’s right we avoided that door” G0 said. We stepped into the room and were surprised. H4 was sitting on the floor, praying. His eyes opened, but they were black and orange, and suddenly they turned back to blue. “Oh, hi B7!” H4 said as he began smiling. 

“What happened to you?!” C0 said. “Ever since you disappeared after being killed by that creature, you have acted different!” C0 continued. She grabbed her gun out of her bag and aimed at H4. “Hey boy come here!” H4 said, we all turned around, then back. He was gone. “Oh no” Q2 said. The ground began to shake. 

The wall collapsed, a giant monster came in. It was grey, its head was shaped like a backpack but on its side, but it was fleshy, and instead of little metal pieces, it was teeth. It stood on four legs, it wasn’t a backpack, only its head was shaped like it. 

It walked towards us, “guys, do not move!” Q2 said. Suddenly a mirror appeared in front of us, it was golden, the Watcher wants to see us. The creature backed off, and retreated down the hall. We all walked up to the mirror and touched it. We appeared in front of the Watcher, even H4 was here. 

“ Caminante De Piel you can come out of H4’s body” the Watcher said to H4. Orange and black smoke drained out of H4, H4’s body began to turn grey. H4’s body crumpled into dust, the others were horrified. The smoke hung in a ball with a little smoke floating around it. “now it is time for what I brought you here for” the Watcher said. 

 

Finale (chapter 39) 

“What are you?” Q2 asked. “I mean you both, both of you.... things” Q2 continued. “I am the Watcher, the god of the Realms” the Watcher said. Suddenly many different colors balls of light appeared across the room. Soon they began to take form, but they were too bright to make out. “Oh, Construir what a pleasant surprise” the Watcher said. “Wait isn’t that like Spanish for building?” V4 said. 

The Constuir began to take form, it became a bunch of revolving rubble, an orange orb sat in the middle. Suddenly a rainbow orb transformed into a bunch of revolving glass. “Oh Veritas, you decided to show yourself” the Watcher said. “Isn’t that, like, Latin for truth?” V4 said, “wrong, I am the god of the mirrors” Veritas said. “Enough of introductions, it is time to talk about what I brought you here for” the Watcher said. 

You kids are allowed to go” the Watcher said, “But there is a catch” he continued. “L9 has to stay in these realms,” he said. Our entire group froze, L9 turned pale. “She has broken morals and has shown extreme rudeness to all of you” he said. L9 looked around in the group, she couldn’t imagine that what she has done was wrong. “no, I will not stand for this, let us bring L9 back” I said, L9 looked at me with so much disbelief. “but I've been so nasty to you and B2, why are you defending me” L9 said. “we can’t leave you” I said, “wow, how beautiful, this is what I wanted to see, your now all good to go, you’ve shown me great deeds of kindness and loyalty” the Watcher said. 

A rainbow mirror appeared, Veritas started to glow, it appeared it was using it’s power to make this mirror. Everyone ran towards the mirror, tears coming from their eyes, we have escaped. 

Home, sweet, home (chapter 40) 

We woke up on a sunny farm, grass was in our hair. Q2 shook D8 awake, B2 ran over to me and hugged me. U1 helped C0 up, and L9 stood up and brushed the grass off herself. V4 and G0 helped each other up. We heard a strange buzzing noise, and it was getting closer. A tractor came up over the hill, a young woman was driving it. 

“Hey, why are you kids on my farm?” the woman said. “Jeez you guys are beaten up, what happened to you guys?” She asked. “In fact, don’t tell me, go to my house and clean yourselves up” she said. We walked to her house, it was the size of a mansion, we walked in, took us a while to find the bathrooms. 

Once we were all done with bathing, we went back outside. She was waiting outside, “I’ve always wanted kids, but never met a man that met my standards” she said, “woah, I forgot that there are nine of you!” She said. She walked us to a room, there were many beds, about eight of them. “Miss, by the way, we aren’t related, so there might be some of us in love with each other” B2 said, she glanced at me, “oh, I totally understand!” the women said. 

The sun slowly set in the horizon, me, B2, U1, C0, V4, G0, D8, L9, and Q2 had made it, we escaped from the Realm. B2 held my hand, Q2 and D8 laughed together, V4, G0, L9, and U1 talked, C0 watched the sunset. 

              THE END 

It Watches after 

Me and the rest of the group walked to school. It was about a mile walk but nothing we couldn’t handle. I put my bag into the locker, it was the same one I had brought through the realm, and I had grown a liking to it. A boy came up to me, “hey pretty, why don’t I take you out for some ice cream” he said. I punched him in the gut, “no, I already have someone” I said. 

I had 1st period with U1. Me and him partnered up for a project. Together we built a massive skyscraper out of mini bricks and glue. In 2nd period, me, V4, and G0 worked on an assignment. G0 basically relied on us in order to complete the assignment. In 3rd period I was in a class with L9 and D8, the teacher just talked about inheritance, so we did not talk to each other. 

4th period was lunch. C0 absolutely devoured the pasta they gave us. We all sat together and talked, of course we avoided a talk about the realm, G0 tried to crack a joke but no one laughed. When it was recess time everyone went outside, the boys played (U1, G0, and D8) while us girls just sat down under a tree and chatted. L9 just stared at her prosthetic hand, it seemed she hasn’t fully adjusted. 

8th period was P.E, I was in the class with Q2 and B2. We did the pacer test, our teacher was surprised from how good we did. Our teacher said we should join sports next year. Me and the group reunited after school and began to walk back to the farm. 

Our alarm clock rang, we all got up, C0 said “please, five more minutes!”. We all got dressed, girls in one bathroom, men in the other. Miss served us some breakfast, “Hey kids, how was school yesterday” she asked. “It was pretty good, Miss” D8 said. 

We walked to school, D8 approached me. “Hey B7, I need some advice” he asked. “On what?” I said, "I want to ask out Q2, but I don’t know how to!” D8 said. “We are best friends, and I don’t want to ruin that!” He continued. “Hmm, that’s a dilemma” I said. “Hmm, just be yourself, she likes that version of you, you don’t have to get all romantical” I said. “Thank you so much!” D8 said as he gave me a hug. 

“What did he ask you, B7?” said B2, I hadn’t noticed she had appeared behind me. “He wants to ask out Q2” I said. “Always knew those two were meant to be!” B2 said, as she smiled. 

I finally made it to 8th period, and when I walked in, Q2 was blushing. She walked over to me, “B7, D8 asked me out, I didn’t know how to respond so I told him I’ll think about it, I think I hurt his feelings!” Q2 said. “He really likes you, Q2” I said. “I also like him, but it just took me by surprise, I feel horrible!” Q2 said. The bell rang, school was over. 

We were walking back to the farm, the rumor had some how spread through out the group. Q2 and D8 walked towards each other. They began talking over each other, then they stopped and stared into each other's eyes. They embraced each other, me and the rest of the group clapped. The rest of the walk to the farm, they held each other's hand. 

It was bedtime, me and the rest of the girls brushed our teeth. B2 congratulated Q2 on how brave she was to start dating D8. 

It Watches after (chapter 2) 

We woke up and were surprised by what we saw. B2 woke up next to me and gasped, Q2 had snuck into D8’s bed. D8 woke up and almost hit his head on the ceiling because he was so surprised. Q2 woke up and was surprised to see everyone looking at her. It was the weekend, so we had to work on the farm, except for L9. 

We split up the chores as usual, me and B2 worked together to clean up the house, while the others worked on the farm. “Hey B7, I have a feeling about U1 and C0, I mean they have been close for a while now” B2 told me. “Hmm, I feel like they won’t fall in love, B2, they are just best friends” I responded. 

After we finished the rest of the chores, we decided to play hide and seek tag. U1 and Q2 were it. I helped B2 into a tree and beelined for another hiding spot. I looked around from my hiding spot in a bush, D8 was on top a giant hay bale. Then Q2 climbed onto the hay bale too, D8 jumped off, and Q2 followed. 

Q2 land on top of D8, D8 toppled over, and now Q2 was on top of D8 on the ground. Q2 immediately blushed and hopped off of D8. C0 yelped, she ran past my bush with U1 in pursuit. C0 was eventually caught by U1, they laughed it off, and U1 went to go find me and the others. D8 and C0 walked back to the farm, because they had been caught. 

I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was L9. She led me to a hole in the ground, somehow big enough for about ten people to fit in there. “Why is there a massive hole in the ground?” I asked L9. “They’ve been popping up all around the farm” L9 told me. Suddenly there was growling coming from the hole.  

Me and L9 backed up, something was crawling out of the hole. 

It watches after (chapter 3) 

A wolf emerged from the hole, it had a strange metallic collar around its neck. I grabbed L9 by her shirt and ran as fast as we could. Wolf leaped at us, L9 blocked it with her prosthetic hand. A grabbed a branch and slammed the wolf on its head. It yelped and let go. Luckily, L9’s prosthetic hand wasn’t damaged 

Suddenly Miss came out of nowhere with an axe. She slammed the wolf directly in the head. It collapsed, I ripped off the collar and observed it. I gasped, it had the Lab’s signature. “Are you ok my sweethearts?” Miss said. I stuck the collar into my pocket. “We are, Miss” L9 said. 

It was bedtime, the others heard what had happened at dinnertime. I sat in my bed. I got up and flicked the lights on. “Hey, I'm sleeping here!” C0 called out. “Guys I have something to show you” I said. I pulled out the collar and showed it to the group. “What is that?” G0 said. U1 grabbed the collar and looked closely. He gasped, color drained from his face. 

Eventually everyone had seen the signature. “This is bad” V4 said. Suddenly, part of the collar opened, and a note fell out. I opened the note, it read, "Dear Walts, once the wolves have brought you all the kids, separate them, and get B7 ready for her potential, from the Boss”.  

“Not Walts, he is so cold-hearted and clinical” B2 said. Me, C0, and U1 agreed, we had seen him before. “I’ve heard through other kids in the lab how he is crazy, and unsympathetic, as if he had no heart” G0 said. 

Suddenly Miss walked into the room and she had tears in her eyes. “Guys, it is time you leave, even though you guys have never told me what happened to you guys I already know, so I must take you somewhere safe” Miss told us. She herded us towards a barn that we were never allowed to go in. A cargo plane was in the barn. 

“I once worked at the Lab, it was different back then, it protected kids from the Realm, but then the new boss took over and changed the goal, to get into the realm, he experimented with so many innocent lives, so I must save you guys because you are my children” Miss said. 

It Watches After (chapter 4) 

We all buckled up. Me and B2 looked out the window as we took off. D8 fell asleep on Q2’s shoulder. C0 and U1 were talking, V4 and G0 were also talking. Finally, L9 napped. Eventually Miss turned off the lights in the cargo, and we all tried to sleep. 

We all woke up with a bang. Red lights flashed, the alarms blared, we were going down. I looked around, and there didn't seem to be a hole in the plane. I unbuckled, B2’s face lit up with surprise, “B7! PLEASE BUCKLE BACK UP!” B2 told me. I grabbed my gun from my backpack. Luckily, Miss allowed us to pack before leaving. 

I stepped into the cockpit. I gasped, Miss was dead. Suddenly, someone grabbed me. I struggled, the person only gripped me tighter. BANG!, the guy dropped me, and C0 was holding a gun. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a revolver. 

I woke up in the snow, the others were grouped up near me holding my backpack and theirs too. “What happened?” I asked. “We hit the ground, and only the intruder died, luckily” V4 said. I stood up, but my entire leg throbbed. D8 helped me sit back down, then he began digging in his bag. 

He pulled out medical supplies. He said not to look at my leg as he worked on it. “D8, how did you get your medical skills?” I asked. “I learned them from the library at the lab” D8 told me. “Ready” he asked me. Pain shot through my entire leg, tears welled up in my eyes. D8 began to put snow on my leg. He showed me a piece of metal. Blood dripped from it. 

He grabbed paper towels and a bottle of rubbing alcohol. He cleaned my wound and began bandaging it up once he was done. B2 and C0 helped me walk. D8 stayed close by just to make sure I was okay. 

It watches after (the Lab's perspective)  

Walts walked into the conference room, a massive dark figure sat at the desk. “Good evening, Boss” Walts said. He took his cigar out of his mouth and set it down. “It appears your plan failed, Walts” the boss said. " I know, please give me another chance” Walts said. “Let me show you what the other scientists have been working on, Walts” the boss said. 

“Put on these X-ray goggles first Walts, we have to keep our specimen a secret you know” the boss said as they walked. They finally walked into the room. “Wow, how did you get these creatures!” Walts said, looking at giant black boxes. “Ever watched Jurassic Park, Walts?” The boss said. 

They walked back to the conference room. “Wow boss, those kids aren’t escaping us any longer!” Walts said. “We just have to up the mind control collars before we send them out, Walts” the boss said. 

It watches after (chapter 5) 

After about an hour of walking we reached a town. We walked around for a few minutes and were surprised, every house was empty. A guy ran past us, he was sprinting as fast as he could. The farther we walked into the town, the more beaten up the houses were. The wind picked up, then suddenly stopped. 

A screech filled the empty town, and it was not human. A Quetzalcoatlus soared over us. We took shelter in a house, we silently agreed that we had to wait until the creature was gone.” What was that thing!” G0 said. “did you guys also see the collar on its neck?” L9 said. The others turned to face her. 

“wait does that mean....” U1 said, his face filling with horror, “that those things are after us” he finished. “It feels like were in the Realm right now” B2 said. We all were scared, there was most likely more of them. “Guys, do you also feel like were being watched” Q2 said. We all turned to face her. 

The house shook, dust and grime fell onto us. 

It watches after (chapter 6) 

The giant bird ripped through the roof. We all scattered towards exits, windows, doors, and holes in the walls. I grabbed my knife, a dumb choice in most people's books. I stepped back into the house, I aimed at the giant living fossil. It turned towards me. 

I threw the knife, and I was not expecting to do much damage to the creature. SNAP, the creature’s eyes thinned, blood dripped down its neck. The thing collapsed, turns out I split its spine, and killed it. I took my knife out of its neck, the others walked inside, and were surprised to see it dead on the ground. 

“How did you manage to do this?” U1 said, “lucky shot” I replied. “A really lucky shot, also, you had a gun, why didn’t you use that?” Q2 asked. “Uhh, B7 your hair!” B2 said. 

It watches after (chapter 7) 

The others brought me to the mirror in the house's bathroom. All the ends of my hair had turned into a mix of white and cyan. The others seemed surprised by this change, “guys, peoples hair turning white is natural, happens due to old age or stress” I said. “The color cyan though” B2 said, “what do you mean?” I asked. “Why don’t we just cut it off, it’s a good solution” D8 said. 

“I am not cutting off my hair, D8” I said. “Why would something like this happen?” C0 said. All of us at the same time said, “I don’t know”. “Wait, didn't the note say something was special about you” L9 said, everyone turned to look at her. “She is right, something is happening to B7, we just have to get to the bottom of it” U1 said. 

We all jumped, the sound of many cars were heading our way. We searched the room for possible escape routes. “Everyone out the window!” Go said, as he ran for the broken window. “Wait G0!!!” V4 said, but it was too late he had already jumped out. BANG!, the door of the front door was destroyed, we all decided jumping down a hill was better than being caught. 

We all tumbled down the hill, we hadn’t realized that it led to a white-water rapid. We couldn’t see G0 anywhere. I grabbed onto a tree, the others reached for me, and I grabbed their hands. We were really close to the water, if we had fallen for more than a second we would have been swept away. 

Suddenly the tree began to tip, our weight was ripping it out of the ground. I let go before it fell out, a tree tumbling with us was more dangerous. We all clung together as we fell into the water. 

It watches after (Agents' prospective) 

The drive back was long. I walked into the boss's room. “You failed to capture them” the boss said, “We didn’t fail entirely” I said. “We caught G0 with a net” I said. “I see, you didn’t fail 100%” the boss said. “you know, Seth, we really spent a lot of money on that one subject, and it was killed, someone must pay the price, Seth” the boss said. “Guards, take him away” the boss said. Two really mean looking men approached me. 

The boss walked into the interrogation room. G0 had been strapped to a chair. “Now child tell us what happens in the Realm” the boss said. G0 gulped then said “never, I will never tell you!”. The boss sighed, “this has happened before with that one kid, what was his name?” the boss said. “Oh yeah F7, sadly his end wasn’t peaceful” the boss said. “I will not be a piece in your sick game!” G0 said, “what even is the point of sending kids to the Realm!” he continued. 

The boss got up and walked out of the room. The guards watching grabbed G0 and threw him into a cell. G0 sat scared in the dark, sobbing, afraid of what was going to happen to his friends. 

It watches after (chapter 8) 

We all woke up, we had reached a tropical area, the water was warm. C0 got up and looked at herself. “Jeez, this is the worst time to wear a white shirt” C0 said. I got up, I immediately panicked and checked out my leg. The wound had reopened and was pouring out blood. “Thank goodness we have waterproof backpacks” D8 said. He walked over to me and pulled out bandages from his bag. 

“Usually, it’s me getting injured and you protect me” C0 said. B2 came over and sat next to me, and she began touching my hair. I just let her do it, she is my girlfriend after all. U1 handed me a coconut, then he began passing them to everyone else. V4 seemed really worried, she was pacing and grabbing at her hair. 

“What’s wrong, V4?” Q2 asked. “It’s just G0, he shouldn’t be completely gone like this” V4 said. L9 looked around, “she’s right, G0 would’ve washed up with us” she said. “Who jumped out first?” L9 said. “I did” U1 said, “well did you see G0, it took us at least ten seconds to fall down the hill, he was gone for five” L9 said. “Wait does that mean he could’ve been captured somehow” Q2 said. 

We all began to panic on the inside. B2 pulled me closer to her, Q2 walked over to D8 and sat down beside him. V4 went for a dip, mostly because she had no one to relieve her feelings to. L9 slapped her forehead but immediately regretted it because she used her prosthetic hand. C0 walked over to U1 to talk to him.  

Eventually we began moving, we knew we couldn’t stay in one place too long. It began to turn dark, that’s when D8’s idea came out. “Why don’t we cut out the tracker” D8 said, toasting his marshmallow above the fire. “There is a problem to that, we don’t know where the tracker is” C0 said. 

“I know where it is, in fact I’ll even show you on my own body” D8 said. “No you’re not, D8” Q2 said, grabbing the knife from out of his hand. “It has to be done, QT, and you know it” D8 said. “I told you not to use that pet name, D8” Q2 said as she handed him back the knife. 

It watches after (chapter 9) 

D8 stabbed into his elbow, after he opened the wound a little more, he grabbed his tweezers and reached in. He pulled out a chip, everyone's faces were surprised, he had done it. He began to bandage his wound, and after that he began working on Q2. While he worked on Q2, C0 grabbed the chip and threw it into the fire. D8 turned to C0 with a face of surprise. “Why did you do that?!” D8 said. “If a chip goes offline, they might get suspicious” He continued. 

“I am sorry, D8, I didn’t know, But I have an idea, we just don’t destroy the others” C0 said. He finally reached me, I wanted to go last. D8 cut into my elbow and reached around for a little while. “B7, where is your chip?!” D8 said, I could tell he was panicking. “Wait does that mean...” B2 said, as she began to panic. That's when the memories came back to me, the ones that the Realm had shown me. They had placed it inside my head. 

“What does the Lab see in you, B7” L9 said. “Yeah L9’s right, the Lab has singled you out for a while” C0 said. D8 bandaged my arm, I sat down and sighed. We all sat around the fire, we knew we had to soon begin to move through the night. Q2 fell asleep onto D8’s shoulder, he lifted her up and put her blanket back onto her. 

We found a trail through the mountain. D8 was still carrying the sleeping Q2, and B2 seemed sleepy too. I walked up to B2 and picked her up like a sack of potatoes. “HEY!” B2 yelped, but soon she calmed down and fell asleep. 

We soon found an abandoned cabin and decided to crash here for the night. The people that lived there must have abandoned it not that long ago. We searched through the house, and assigned everyone somewhere to sleep. Me and B2 cuddled up on the couch.  

Something wet splashed onto my shirt. I opened my eyes and looked at B2. B2 was crying, B2 saw I was awake and hugged me. 

 

It watches after (G0’s prospective) 

The lights in my room turned on. “G0, please walk to the interrogation room” the speaker said. I slowly walked to the room, all the other cells had kids in them, the lab’s new experiments to send to the Realm. “Please help me, sir” a little boy called to me from a cell. The cell said S5. “I can’t, I am sorry, S5” I said. 

I walked into the interrogation room, no one was in there. Suddenly someone grabbed me by the neck and slammed me into the ground. My head began to bleed, and my consciousness began to fade. Everything was turning black. The guy grabbed me and dragged me away. 

I woke up and tried to move, but I was strapped down to a table. Bright lights blinded me. The most terrifying thing was the massive drill about two feet away from my forehead. “Now young G0, we must get to the important details of what the Realm is” the boss said. 

“I will never tell someone like you!” I said, struggling against my restraints. “Walts, power on the drill, but don’t bring it down, yet” the boss said. Someone moved, but I couldn’t see them because the lights were too bright. The drill powered on, my body began to tremble. 

“I still will not tell you! no matter what you do to me!” I screamed. “How do not feel fear right now, G0, your life is on the line” the boss said. “Walts, keep him alive, but that doesn't mean we can’t do something with the drill!” the boss said. The drill moved down to my leg. “Wait, no, no, no!” I yelled. 

It watches after (chapter 10) 

I tried to get up, but B2 was sleeping on top of me. I had to squirm out in order to get up. I walked out of the cabin, and went for a dip in a nearby hot spring. I looked at the reflection in the water and nearly had a heart attack. My hair had entirely changed from brown to whitish-cyan. 

B2 soon walked into the hot spring and nearly toppled over. “Your hair fully turned, wow, it’s kind of pretty” B2 said, dipping into the hot water. I kissed her on the cheek, “thanks I needed that” I said. “I am just saying the truth!” She said. 

Suddenly D8 jumped in, soaking me and B2. “D8 be careful you slam into the rocks at the bottom!” Q2 said, gently getting into the water. “I am fine, QT” D8 said, “Hey, I told you not to use that nickname!” Q2 said, puffing up her cheeks. “Woah, B7, your hair!” Q2 said, "yeah, I know, my hair did a full transformation” I said. 

All the others soon came, but they brought us to a much bigger hot spring. It was the size of an entire pool and as deep too. D8 grabbed Q2’s hand and jumped in. Q2 swam up and began scolding D8. This riled up C0, which made her push U1 into the water. 

U1 got back out of the water, he pretended not to care just to sneak up behind C0 and push her in. C0 got swam back out of the water, her long hair was now wet and in her face. Me and B2 jumped into the water, but B2 got thrown into the air by a geyser. “AHH!” B2 yelped as she flopped into the water. 

“That’s pretty funny, B2” V4 said, as she slowly dipped into the water. L9 followed behind her, dipping into the warm water. B2 was still in a great mood, she swam underwater and attacked C0 from below, because she was laughing super hard. 

We decided we had to bathe later in the day, luckily, we brought soap in our backpacks. The girls got the big spring to bathe, because there were more of us, and the boys got the smaller one. We made a small post to hang up our clothes while we bathed. 

The rest of the girls really liked my hair, they kept touching it and saying how perfect it was for me. I heard the boys' screaming things that I wish I could forget. “Jeez, I wonder what my boyfriend is up to,” said Q2, rolling her eyes. 

It watches after (G0’s prospective) 

I cried in the corner of my cell, and I knew my friends were still worried about me. I touched my leg; it was bandaged severely. “Why did this have to happen to me” I said, crying harder than ever. That’s when I remembered what I did earlier. 

I walked to my cell door, I had stuffed pieces of my shirt into where the lock goes. I opened the door with some difficulty. I almost fell over from the pain in my leg, the drill did more damage than I had realized. 

I had stolen something from the scientist’s pockets earlier. car keys. I sneaked past the receptionist and escaped out the door. I walked up to the car, and I unlocked the door. I started up the car and drove off. 

“I guess I must G0, C0 would’ve laughed so hard at that one” I said. I knew where the river led but I was captured, but now I must head there and find my friends. “Hi sir” a voice said behind me, I knew telling him my plan would help him escape. “Hi S5, I knew you would make it out, my young little champ” I said. 

It watches after (chapter 11) 

C0 was the first to get out, but when she did, she yelped and covered herself up. “I’m sorry C0, I didn’t mean to look!” I heard U1 yell, I could tell how flustered he was. C0 dipped back into the water, covering how pink her face was. V4 patted her on her shoulder, C0 seemed she was going to pop. U1 and C0 spend so much time together, so I can see why she is so flustered. 

 

C0 hugged V4 really hard, “hey!” V4 yelped, she seemed a little flustered by how close C0 was holding her. “Calm down, and you’re holding me too close!” V4 yelped, pushing herself away from C0. Then bright lights came from the distance, like the ones from a car. 

Then the most crazy thing happened. G0 ran down the hill. G0 immediately looked away, his face pink. “I am sorry I didn’t know you guys were naked!” G0 said. V4 jumped out of the water and hugged him. “I thought you would never come back!” V4 said. Then she grabbed him by the face and kissed him, and G0 almost passed out. 

“Hello" a young voice said. ” Oh, guys that is S5” Said G0, who was keeping his eyes closed. S5 looked around and turned around and said, “bleh, girls”. He walked away towards the cabin. We soon all got dressed, U1, C0, and G0 were going crazy. 

U1 apologized ten million times, C0 accepted every single one of them. “Woah, G0 what happened?!” V4 said. G0 told us that he would tell us later and that he was too flustered right now. “You saved a little boy from the lab?” Q2 said, she had her arm around D8. 

S5 was jumping up and down, to the point we had to tell him to calm down. V4 was sitting right next to G0, which did not help his embarrassment. “Jeez, G0, get over it!” V4 said, super sly. “It’s not the fact that you kissed me, it’s the fact you were-” G0 said, but V4 pinched his lips together. 

It watches after (L9’s memory) 

Me and K4 walked through the red fog. I opened up to K4, and he opened up to me. He held my hand as we walked through the dark, the same hand I lost later. “Don’t worry L9, we’ll be fine, we’ll reunite with V4, D8, and G0” K4 said. 

That's when everything went south. A reptile-like creature appeared in front of us. It snapped its maw onto K4’s arm. Blood went everywhere, and the creature retreated. I held K4, he was weak from blood loss. “L9...” K4 said, it was barely a whisper. “Live for me, L9, I know I might not make it, so live for me!” K4 told me. “No! Don't say that, you’re going to make it out of here alive!” I screamed, tears streaming down my face. 

He leaned up and kissed me, strength leaving his body. I wept for hours till the others found me. 

Suddenly, I woke up, we were driving in the car that G0 hijacked. V4 asked if I was okay, and I brushed her off. I don’t need anyone else. 

It watches after (chapter 12) 

The van that G0 stole wasn’t very comfy. L9 seemed even more detached whenever she woke up. Suddenly G0 slammed on the brakes, there was a van Infront of us. “Everyone, we must get out of here!” G0 yelled, as lab agents got out of the van. I grabbed my knife from out of my bag, “B7, ain’t no way you're using your knife” B2 told me. 

I approached the massive muscular guys. They had tranquilizers. My head began hurting, and that’s when everything changed. The guys began levitating, then began to show distress. Then they disappeared, just gone, and their guns and clothes flopped onto the ground. I almost passed out, luckily B2 caught me. 

“What the #### was that!!!” C0 said. I finally knew what the lab wanted me for, world domination, or something close to that. Everything was falling into place, the mind control collars weren’t to get us back, they were trying to make a weapon with me. “Guys, it is time we push back against the Lab, no more running” I said. The entire group was shocked by what I was saying. 

We hopped back into the van and turned around, it was time to destroy the lab. 

It watches after (Finale)  

We pulled up behind the Lab, Me, G0, and S5 were the only ones who had trackers still in us. D8 removed G0’s and S5’s trackers. I walked in front of the lab, prepared for what the Lab would send at me. Many guards walked out towards me. I pulled out my knife. 

The first guard grabbed at me, and I slid between his legs. I stabbed him in his most vulnerable spot. He toppled over, and I stabbed him in the back of the neck. The other guys seemed stunned by this and pulled out batons. That's when all the kids ran out, my friends did what I told them to. 

I used a little bit of my power to get rid of the guards. B2, U1, V4, C0, G0, S5, D8, Q2 ran into the van, I told them earlier to retreat, but it was strange that L9 was missing. I could smell the propane in the air; they carried my plan all the way through. I grabbed my lighter and was ready to blow up the place. 

The boss ran out and tackled me. “I will not let you ruin what I have built!” He yelled. My lighter went flying, I had to get rid of this guy. I couldn’t find an opportunity to grab my lighter, because he never dropped his guard. 

He pinned me to the ground, that’s when he pulled a high-tech control collar. I used some of my power to force him off of me. “Hey B7, tell the others I am sorry” L9 said. She had the lighter in her hand. “L9, don’t do this!” I said. “I’ll be able to see K4 again, goodbye B7” said L9 as she lit the lighter. 

I turned to the boss. Suddenly a mirror appeared, and a massive, clawed arm grabbed the boss. It slowly dragged him towards the mirror, and soon he was gone. I dropped to my knees, I felt responsible for L9’s death. 

IT WATCHES AFTER (ENDING!) 

 I walked into my apartment, me and B2 had made it home. B2 soon came home from work. She came over and kissed me on the cheek. “B7, D8 and Q2 invited us to a party, want to go?” B2 asked me. 

I got ready to go to the party, I turned off my show I was watching. Then I stopped and looked at a glass case on the wall. In the case was L9’s prosthetic, and a flower from everyone in the group. Me and B2 walked out the door and got in our car. 

We arrived at their place, it was nice because D8 took a job as a doctor. Then a little boy ran out, he had Q2’s dirty blonde hair and D8’s blue eyes. Q2 walked out and picked him up, then she walked over to greet us. 

Everyone arrived soon after that. C0 walked up to me, “hey B7, how’s everything holding up?” She asked. “Quite nicely actually” I replied. V4 and G0 walked in, but something seemed different about them. 

D8 walked up to G0 and started talking to him. “Uppies!” I heard a little voice say. It was D8’s and Q2’s kid. I picked him up and said, “what is your name?”. “Sebastion, I think” the little boy said. 

U1 and C0 started talking, then B2 joined in. I came over to hear what they were talking about. Turns out V4 and G0 were having a child, and how it was making V4 complicated. S5 walked in, and he came here after school. “How’s school, little champ?” G0 said. 

We decided to drive to Miss’s farm. G0 drove all the way there with most of us in his van, and U1, and V4 drove in separate cars. We all watched as the sun went down and all the pretty colors on the same cliff side the day we came here. 

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned and almost jumped off the cliff side. It was L9, but she was a ghost. She sat down next to me and looked at the view. “Seems you all have healed, B7” she said. She hugged me then slowly began to fade away, tears streamed down my face. 

She dissipated while looking out into the distance. I wiped away my tears and hugged all the others in a group hug. “What’s wrong, B7?” B2 said. “Nothing much, just that we are in a new stage of our lives, we no longer have to hide” I said. 

Q2 lifted up Sebastion and pointed to some birds that were flying. U1 gave C0 a hug then began to walk back to his own car. The sun set, and we began to drive back to the house. Me and B2 said our goodbyes and then we headed back home.
