Imperfect Life

Imperfect Life

A Poem by Lone_Wolf

Imperfect life

Endless days of pain.
The pain in my heart never receeds.
Always there.
Threatening to bring me to my knees.

A month and a half left.
How can I wait that long?
Ever second is a million years to my heart.
Slowly burning like me.

The pain fades when I see her.
That beautiful face I love.
The green eyes I look to,
When i need a hug.

But how can I wait this long?
A month and a half,
Then a year with her.
And then seven years apart.

A long time of waiting.
All for the one I love.
Yes its unbearable
But its the ending that I want

Me in my dress.
Her in her tux.
Walking down the Aisle.
Until our rings are on our fingers.

My imperfect life with her.
