Gravity

Gravity

A Poem by bathtime

To me, you're like gravity
A constant pulling sensation
Never upwards, only down
You drag me to the bottom
Never allowed back out
I miss the feeling I used to get
A joy, of sorts
It left when you arrived
My gravity, sweet gravity
Without you, I am free
My gravity, sweet gravity
Without you, I am nothing.

Definitely about a guy from what I can tell. It tells the reader you're sunk, and if you weren't sunk you'd be nowhere. So being sunk is something. I can't really critique anything because it a famous known poet wrote the exact same words it would be a worldwide masterpiece.

A interesting poem.
"Without you, I am free
My gravity, sweet gravity
Without you, I am nothing."
I like the twisted emotions in the words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
