That Girl I Knew

Do you remember that girl I knew? The one that I spent every minute of every day confiding in and loving. That girl that I told all my secrets to.  That girl that I did everything for? The one I called my best friend? I barely remember her either, now that this much time has passed. Every day that goes by changes her more and more. She isn't that girl I knew anymore. I don't particularly know who she is anymore. Some stranger came and took her away maybe. Because she used to be so different. It was never like this before. That's why she is the girl I knew. I don't know her anymore.
