We Are All Phantoms

just thoughts from years ago; in those years I watched "Beauty and the Beast" on TV and "Phantom of the Opera" scenes on PBS.

We are all beautiful

      in our own way,

Yes; we all have our blemishes,

      scars,

              ugliness.

           Sometimes ~

                             we are all phantoms

                             hiding behind a mask

                             but, we all are beautiful.

Intertwined within the ugliness

                        is the beauty of the BEAST.

This also is very true. I think the friendship poem is stronger. But there is definitely truth in this. And I like the way you focus on the positive part of the combination. We have to focus on that side or what are we left with? Despair and hopelessnes.
