MisconceptionsA Poem by Bear Y'hoshua H.After an argument I had where I felt I was wrongly accused, this came to me as I stood outside gazing at the stars. The stars above me hide behind the clouds Yet I feel their anger shining down upon me Of false accusations, things I did not do I light a stick of incense with tears in my eyes Knowing she is angry with me Hurt over something she perceived I love her, as she loves me But for tonight we will not talk again I can only hope that the sun will bring relief from this pain And the misunderstanding can be resolved For what is life without her now that I have had her in it? It would be as empty as the smoke from this incense Void, fading, dawdling up into nothingness With my head on my pillow, the tears flow But who will cry for me once I am gone? And who will change the tearstained sheets? © 2012 Bear Y'hoshua H. |
