Because I can't find it.

Looking for me,

Someone to tell you,

"We're meant to be".

Baby I'm looking for you too,

I've searched the seven seas.

I don't know what else to do,

To find someone who sets me free.

 

I don't know how long it will take to find you,

But I know I will some day.

Some day you will kiss me & I'll say,

"You take my breath away".

 

Until then,

I'll keep my hopes up.

Someone that loves me enough.

I really like the idea of this poem. There is a familure feeling to this poem, as if you already know your love. I like how you address him as if it's just a matter of time. Very enduring and heartfelt. Great job.
