It's now fivethirty in the morning
on my side of the world.
Your down the road yet still so far away.

I doubt you even know
that I can't get you off of my mind
yet still, Here I am drenched in an empty heart.

Desperate for you to notice
that I want you for me.
Desperate for you
to feel the same way.

I can't rest until I know...
No! I can't truly live
until I know

I want to pick up the phone
to hear you spill your heart.

I like this. It's an interesting reflection on a moment in time. I once did something similar. I really like the line "yet still, Here I am drenched in an empty heart". I feel like it's one of those classic type lines that other people can easily relate tool
