The grass is green,
The sky is blue.
The big white couds
make me think of you.

Each second that goes by
is a moment lost in time
while I sit here
and think of words that rhyme.

The true blue color
of these ocean waves
are the way it feels
to be lost in your maze.

Even if it's all confusing
and you don't understand,
I'll always be here
to take your hand.

The beauty of this nation
and the beat of  your heart
are all the more reason
to not be apart.
