Valentine

I wrote this one night when I was laying in bed trying to sleep. It's about none other than a valentine!!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
In the end
will you be true?

True love last forever
and so will my heart,
Whether we're near
or far apart.

Trust can be deceiving
if it's the wrong person you trust,
To you it may be love
but to them it may be lust.

When it comes to me,
Well, You're the one I love.
Our moments together
are sent from up above.

I only have one question
in this year of 2009,
Baby will you please be,
My Valentine.

There is a lot of truth in this poem. Something to be remembered on Valentine's Day. I like what the verse above says. Even when a love doesn't work out a heart can still go on loving. Beautifully done!
