Concave Peak

Concave Peak

A Poem by Rebecca

Mind unraveling
Thoughts all scattering
Head is spinning
Can’t keep living

Restless nights
Darkened frights
Wake me with
A thirst to write

Falling down
Screams with no sound
Hands are shaking
Confidence breaking

Lies rewritten
Tongue-bitten
Graves hidden
Self smitten

Tears well up
Death close-up
Body’s heave
Need to leave

Hope’s all gone
Without a song
Won’t live enough
To see dawn.
