Escapes Of TIme

Escapes Of TIme

A Poem by Rebecca

Time's colloquial breezy inhales
Of memories
And exhales of lingering pain
Bring forth reminiscing tales
Of trodden hearts and
Jaded minds and wandering souls.
Casting winds of fury and storms of rage,
Generous warmth and calming seas,
It meanders in the eternal,
Calling our names,
Seductively entrancing and
Enchanting the eyes of the living.
Repulsed and reluctant, yet I still longer for that beckoning of time.
