Aging Up

Aging Up

A Poem by beefjerky
"

life can have similarities... life must have differences...

"
One day born am I,
Suddenly I'm one.
Jibberish and wobble,
Into human words and run.
Pacifiers, diapers, bottles,
Braces, underwear, cups.
Walking down streets with adorable "hellos",
Ambling the alley with "yo, wassups".
Teddybears to show- and tell,
Your fancy new gadgets in their faces.
Clothe so cute chosen by mommy,
Until brands and glamour of all different races.
Dresses and princess gowns on Halloween Night,
Goth and black emo to school.
Little floaties and life rings,
Form multi pieced strands to the pool.
No war action, just cry and complaint,
Kicks, and punches, and a swear.
Quilts and fuzzy little blankets,
How warm and cute like  would care.
Envies cool toys,
Mocks people's dolls.
Viewing outfits with your mother,
Ripping random trends from malls.
Xplain something I do not know,
Z way that people grow.
