Aloness

Staring blank into the lonely night,

Stars sprinkled across my sight.

Some are glowing, some are red,

Some don't seem far over head.

Suddenly, like out of nowhere,

Star drifted across the sky in my stare.

Soothingly a wish I made,

Soon the star will start to fade.

Surpringly shot across my sky,

Sadly slipping from my eye.

Still my world was free from riot,

So peaceful and so quiet.

Slowly my skies lightened,

So aloness over but life not brightened.
