It's all about the agony that one suffers from a wound received long ago somewhere in the past that still aches and reminds of the someone so cold, so dear and so forbidden..

A Light in the Darkness

A light in the darkness,

fainting in the gloom.

You sat there staring at,

me dying of the wound.

Wind blowing; that too swift,

still deafening silence prevails.

Been long i 've been through,

scars ache and heart still wails.

Memories lull me to dreams,

that makes you fantasize.

May wish but couldn't ask for,

you were that fantasy alive.

How shadows in the dark,

lose their own existence.

losing myself to you,

i found my very essence.
