The Purdy residence is the last house on Cranberry and finding no record of her ever being married, changes things up by searching for a birth certificate that comes up with no results found. Capable, and after gaining access to I.R.S. files, he can’t find her there either. On paper, miss Purdy does not exist. And yet here they are, stuck on the backseat of a cab taking them as far as her mailbox.
