I keep the regret in me from the day
I exiled you because of the clowns who made me a dictator

Take me to Loch Ness
The monsters there can't get any worse than these

Take me to the hidden forests where we can take long walks
While we talk about life and poems

Let's follow the moonlight
Maybe a unicorn can take me to where I belong
Where you said poets like me should live with their muse

and I can wait there until the apocalypse
Our unbelief and sins will not make things easy for us
I will burn with you until our ashes kiss each other

They will resurrect us and burn us again
and every time
we will find a way to come back to our home

Let our ashes be blown over the Highlands

We will build a new planet for us
Phoenix will be our symbol
And I will vote for your monarchy
We will confirm your kingdom with your signature on my body

This reading made me sad that you are dealing with those who really don’t understand how special you are.
Creativity is both a blessing and a curse.
The constant flood of ideas, the never-ending stream of inspiration. The curse of the creative mind often makes one the odd man out. I was given some words of wisdom early on. Develop the courage to be disliked do your craft and damn the torpedoes. It can make for a lonely existence but frees one up to be true to our gifts.

Uhm, probably not the review you expected, but this write is spookily weird with a capital WEI! 😃
First off, I live in a forested area. Secondly, that forested area is only a mile or two from Loch NESS and thirdly (and I believe this is the spookiest part) The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland!
And I bet you thought the nessie bit would be the weird part! 😃
Oh, and I just remembered another weird thing... I moved here after my home was destroyed by fire! Luckily I wasn't in it at the time because I decided to go to the 24 hour supermarket at silly o'clock in the morning, otherwise I'd have been ash too.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! WHAT? First of all, are you okay? I'm really sorry for your old home, you are so so lucky that you weren't in there at the time. Thank God! And second of all, I'm really scared, I felt like I am Nostradamus! This poem is haunted!?! Wow, that's definitely better(or worse!?) than all the other reviews I could imagine... thank you for sharing all these with me. I don't even know what to say.

I'm fine. In fact it was the best thing to happen to me to be honest. Rural life beats city life hands down and is way less stressful.
The only things I miss are all the personal stuffiness, like photos and keepsakes, but most things are replaceable. I even managed to get some of my photos back when I logged in to my snappish account, which I used to order photographs in the first place. They keep a recordofuploadedpics in your account, so all's well that ends well I suppose. 😃

Be the Phoenix, yes Phoenix! I like the title and don't let anyone dictate to you, you belong, you exist and you create. That's all, no validation needed. you know they say, things get a lot worse, before they can get better. so be it, we all go through the worse, then resurrect our world and rise as Phoenix from the ashes of self. let's take that thought forward and believe there is good coming and rising to see the sun. this is a wonderful poem and you speak here, not just write - that's what i liked so much about this. keep it going! more power to you.
