If I remain silent, it is because of some of my old vows I forgot to keep.

I get used to comfort and forget to be grateful

So i sometimes take time to remember the roads we crossed

We built everything to reach the pure love that is now

For now, my goal is to protect this peace

This is powerfully romantic, and exemplifies all the emotions one may experience when playing the game of love. It's not for the faint-hearted, but even the most timid among us are obliged (compelled?) to enter the fray. Not all are well equipped for the challenge, like my 33 year old son who has never found lasting love but still tries.

Thank you for your kind words. Love is definitely for the brave. But we should keep trying. In a quote of a show "Love doesn't make sense. You can't logic your way into or out of it. Love is totally nonsensical. But we have to keep doing it, or else we're lost and love is dead and humanity should just pack it in, because love is the best thing we do." Is it necessary? Who knows?

There is something so gentle in the way you've worded your anticipations and desires. They border on the edge of hungry, but never crossing a line, which makes it this beautifully emotional, romantic piece. I think anyone who has ever tasted love knows this exact feeling -- you start to create art with your person that they may never see, but the stain remains. Beautifully written and exceptionally executed.
