secretA Poem by Beren'the one everyone knows but doesn't talk aboutI was loved the way you wanted to be loved. Behind the words that made you write poems, I know you know who I am or who wrote me songs. But I won't show myself among the phantoms. And I will keep knitting with my threads. As if he never existed. Because when he left, he thought the past had never happened. As if I never knew him. Because turns out I didn't. Leaving isn't part of poetry. Poems aren't written for those who left. But we'll meet again in another poem. And you'll wish for me to heal. A ghost's stab wound lasts as long as a butterfly's lifespan.
