forgiveness

forgiveness

A Poem by Beren

I believe in forgiveness
On true love
Where there is courage
And hope enough
To tide the broken pieces of a heart

You felt how much I was drunk
From the taste of your tears
I crawled at your couch
Under the dim light of your house

Then you mumbled something
To remind me we are nothing
but a marriage under a haze
just a letter without words

I can forgive every persona easily
Every unwritten word
But I’m only struggling to learn
What was your name again?

Forgiveness.... like everything else, it is conditional, at times complex. And like everything else, it depends on who exactly defines what is or isn't forgivable. Who sets the rules and on what basis. Somethings can not be forgiven. Genocide, war crimes, slavery for example are unforgivable.

Concerning your poem Beren, decent people do not take advantage of others and when this happens it is often unforgivable.

Some people forgive too much.

Some people do not forgive enough...

In about 6 months in America we are about to see a referendum on the wealth class. Unfortunately, they have politicized a world of other things so... I've never lived through an American Civil War before... we are about to become very unique souls in catastrophe. Some people are excited about this... and it breaks my heart.
