Bring Me SpringsA Poem by bd
I don't know how many spring has past
And saw my life be spent without touching nothing but a leaf And without touching a blossom on a twig The most beautiful days of my life with handcuff Please, bring me springs with your hands In a visitation, in a breezy day Send me a letter springlike, redolent and reminiscent I took the fire from Prometheus And burnt the castles of cruelty in Nineveh And opened my hearth Bleeding among sharp talons of eagles from Olympus For new loves in a Newroz spring © 2014 bd |
