Love EndedA Poem by bd
I have neither an expression that shows my temper
Nor a drop of tear that shows I suffer It's the end of the line Said the fate by choosing this time Inside a little pouch There is a handful of pebbles Memories of those good old days Now even they are too heavy So I scattered them on the sea You already knew I had gone So long ago And you already knew it had been finished With every fragment of your soul You were afraid of putting a secret into words And of a perpetual loneliness You were afraid of expressing the last words And of a perpetual goodbye No meaning in the past Or no morning in tomorrow I was made to accept her goodbye And it ended There was an heart Trying to beat with lots of pains inside And in my hands There was a handful of keys Of happiness Now even they are too heavy So I scattered them on the sea You already knew I had gone So long ago And you already knew it had been finished With every fragment of your soul I was afraid of putting a secret into words And of a perpetual loneliness I was afraid of expressing the last words And of a perpetual goodbye © 2014 bd |
