Forest of Dreaming

For the Amazon rain forest

canopy holding close beings beyond imagining

visions creation that of lush brilliance

gentle fingers touch sky's cloud filled face

breath connects flowing life begun

river meeting minds peace filled sleep

reach deep roots stay in hearts keeping

willed forever forest of dreams

human tears for you join as gentle rain

heal all wounds caused of burning pain

this is a wonderful expression of how we all feel about this man made disaster our tears can not cleanse the damage we have done we must collectively do more before its too late. the overall feeling in these lines is so palpable a construction from your heart
